North Korea do better in the Olympics than India.
Edit - It also seems India has the highest child wasting rate in the world.

What is "child wasting rate"?

People who have Third Party Only insurance are deemed to be in a high accident risk group. Consequently Third Party Only insurance often costs more than Third Party, Fire and Theft.

It is because TPO cover is the absolute legal minimum cover.
The only people who have this cover are usually drivers who have had poor insurance issues in the past. So it’s a self selecting population of bad drivers.

Kennington isn't a misspelling of Kensington.
A friend had believed for years that Kington and Knighton were alternative names for the same place (Welsh/English spellings or some such). They are different towns albeit in the same part of the country.

I've had that too. My car was not hugely valuable so I was happy to self-insure, but it was cheaper to actually get it covered fully comp, never mind 3rd party fire and theft. I do get their logic, but it would only make sense if it was a secret as it were

In a similar vein a friend was moaning that his Ford Escort was dearer to insure than a mechanically identical one which lacked the stripe down the side and spotlights. He just couldn't grasp that it was a higher risk due to the drivers it appealed to rather than the (identical) performance

It used to be 60 for bus passes but in many places those are now offered at state pension age.

Not to worried about the bus pass, but I am looking forward to being eligible for the Senior Railcard next year. The £30* cost will be recouped in the first two trips I've got planned.

*I'll probably opt for the £70 for 3 years though will still easily cover that in the first few months.

Tesco Clubcard points can be used towards an Annual Railcard but not the three year one. You also get the railcard at a discounted price. If you have hearing problems that will qualify you for a discount too, though they require evidence.
