My question is.Motorists everywhere are parking on pavements and grassed veges all around our area. Now the grass is chewed up.So when all they have left is ruts and it's all gone to crap.and eventually ruined and they cannot park on that either. The councils have no money to repair with hardcore or tarmac where are these numpties going to park then.In ten, fifteen years grassed verges will be like the grand canyon deep rutted and useless. But that's ok as long as i can park the tin box.
If I was to go out with a spade and dig up neatly-trimmed grass areas there would be outrage in the local papers against the vandalism and a police investigation: tear the verges up with a vehicle and no-one bats an eyelid.

Speaking of grass verges....

Hi pedestrians, today's w@nkpanzer school run mum here, and today you have a choice. Grass verge or road. Pavement you say? Nah, sorry, that's already taken.

(This road is massively wide by the way, there is no need for this - No doubt it's because she just doesn't like to think she's "in the way").

Thanks.👍 I shall use this example when writing to my local council about parking at a "business park" a couple of miles from my home. Users unable to park in allocated spaces, turn grass verges outside the boundary of the park into replica ploughed fields.

There's a private road side turn off the main access where my office is [or was until I moved out a year ago] where parents used to pavement park, until the Council painted double yellows round it by accident [which have no legal status as its unadopted]. The local traffic warden used to come round and ticket all the cars every month or so which worked a treat until he was told that the road was private and stopped.... then the pandemonium began again - parents often make it impossible to get in or out some days and block the access into the industrial estate so people who work there can't get in or out for an hour at school times.

Mind, it will be very quiet next week...

And today's parking chump. Not only does he park like a tool, he has such contempt for his employer that he does so in a van emblazoned with their name.
