2,460 miles ridden (2,351 regular, 109 e-bike) this year.
That puts 2024 in to 6th on my list of 11 full years since I re-took up cycling. The years previous to that I don't have records for, but I doubt any of them went much above 1,000 miles anyway.

Oh and there was also a further 83 1/2 hours on Zwift, RGT and indieVelo as well.

4744 miles for me in 2024. 1841 utility and commuting, 2903 leisure miles. Down on 2023 where I got just over 5000. A combination of a pothole, an operation and weather got in the way a bit this year. Still had some great rides, 49* cakes, and enjoyed almost every pedal stroke.

*approximately; mainly flapjack, scones, brownie and fruit cake,

7,720 recorded miles over 304 rides. That’s all on the recumbent. I don’t record utility trips on the Brommie. That gives an average of about 25 miles across all my outings. My audaxes are much longer, but represent a small subset of my rides.

I am declaring today, safe in the knowledge that I won't be venturing out on a bike again this year. As per much of the year, high winds and rain have seen to that!

A very poor year for me, mileage about half of what it was 10 years ago. I blame the very poor summer (August saw the lowest monthly miles of the year) and some medical issues (still being investigated).

Conventional pedalling, 1143 miles.
E-bike, 764 miles.
Zwift - doesn't count as it's not possible to cover units of distance while not moving.

Hoping for a better 2025!

Have to knock of 16 km tomorrow to get 3000 km for 2024.
Bit of a surprise.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Down on where i normally want to be , i aim for at least 7000 miles but surgery and as I get older i dont have the motivation to get knobbled by crappy weather especially when I am under the eye of the bosses for time off so "wimp out " factor is higher .

Good work folks

Strava says 3680 miles over 386 rides for a total ride time of 305hrs; the most I've covered in any one calender year.

My not-at-all-problematically-OCD spreadsheet suggests that this breaks down into:

2878 miles on the Brompton (mostly commuting / nearly all utility)
720 miles on the Fuji (about 436 miles over 20 rides for utility, the rest for leisure)
73 miles on the Ragley ("leisure" getting something shiny and new covered is crap and stonechips across the fields)

This compares favourably to last year's total of 2684 miles which was split roughly down the middle between the Brompton and Fuji; the use of the former for commuting beginning about halfway through the year..

Why is your Genesis not getting any use?
