After 12 years scratch-free, one of the local kids/scrotes has scraped the Corsa this morning (intentionally, or not?)

It’s essentially from the tail-light to the door-mirror
Mine is that mucky that they’d get filthy from doing it
The height seems to correspond to an under 10 (or so), we live opposite a junior school

It is a solid red so may likely machine polish to look better, that would have taken some force to do that, unless it is a mark on the paint rather than in it.

Friday 20th

Spotted in (one of) the work car-parks that l cut through this morning

As l approached it, with the lighting reflecting off it, l thought it was just condensation on it, until l got closer

I forget yesterday
Father-in-law told me he’d managed to sort out the scratch
I’ve not had a good look yet, or asked him what he did, but it looked okay yesterday afternoon when l got home from work

Subaru Legacy

Aldi
Wakefield Road/A645
Featherstone
(between Wakefield & Pontefract)

They seem to be getting rarer, as all the poachers/lampers seemed to use them, then not reclaim them if impounded

The drivers side wiper appeared to only have about 6” of rubber still attached to the carrier

I'm shopping for a new car, estate, come Feb 2025 and hadn't thought of these. I'll add them to the shortlist. Might be rare to find though by the sounds of it!

This year's MOT history a bit of a shocker ;)

The past few years are also bad!

Just bear in mind the words of a former neighbour who bought an Impreza brand new, it was kept about 3 months, his exact words as to why it had gone was I've never had a car use as much petrol in my life

Our old XKR drank like Oliver Reed having a bet with Richard Burton, that they could drink the pub dry!!

As did a FIAT Tempra estate many years ago

Oh it wouldn't be an Impreza, I was thinking of maybe a Legacy but I had a look last night and they are all out of my price range.

Completely out of my price range is one I also remembered about; Mitsubishi Galant VR4 Estate
