In the video it does suggest that intervals.icu and Veloviewer type apps could be impacted as Strava data going to there will be restricted (no aggregation for example. So if you could push data directly to the other apps whilst missing out the step to Strava that would be a solution.
I don't pay for Strava as it's purely a data storage place for me. I wouldn't be surprised if they target us free-loaders next, trying to force us to pay. If that becomes the case I'll look for an alternative. I don't use any of the other Strava features so I don't plan to upgrade (I did once pay, but didn't get any value so stopped my subs)
I like live segments which is one of the premium features I pay for. If I could wean myself off the pissing contest of segments I could ditch the paid subs. The issue on intervals was with coaches seeing your data. e.g. @Norry1 and I can see each other's data on intervals. It seemed that Strava wanted to stop that. But from the above link it looks like they are backtracking on that one.
