Yep all my devices are hard wired, WiFi is for the kids and phones, and subject to QOS restrictions ... I even have the pain cave hard wired and it's at the bottom of the garden 40m away!! Although I am going to put WiFi in for the Zwift companion App.

Not in this house.... PC under TV hardwired, son has gigabit router upstairs, so him and daughter are hardwired, wifes' desktop is hardwired and the powerline adapter sits on the remaining hub port. Must get wired set up for laptop ^_^

Anyone racing tonight? I'm doing the DBR race at 7:05 UK. Nice and flati(ish) route as it is 12 x LaGuardia Loop, which is a route you can not ride outside an event.

I'll livestream my pathetic performance on my YouTube channel. You can find a recording of yesterday's "age" race there as well...

Just subscribed. Can't see the video there.

We’ve just installed the google whole home mesh network after having issues with WiFi ever since we moved in. I was a little dubious due to cost but it is absolutely excellent and for the first time ever we have great WiFi all over the house and even in the back garden

Some of you Kickr riders may want to do a factory spin down. A lucky few few are getting power boosts. The majority seem to be getting a shock  Seems the app spin down is none to reliable over time. Just saying (cough) NEO!
I always do the advanced spin down over standard - read quite a few places that the standard is pretty ropey.

I saw the advanced same as the factory? There’s been a lot about this on a closed group. If watts are pretty consistent over time with marginal ftp increases then all is probably fine. Some were seeing 100w ftp increases over 4-5 months which prompted a suggested they do the factory test and voila, huge drop in ftp.
Conversely, some have seen increases after a factory spin down.

Accidentally (stupidly) entered a 100 mile crit today on the NY course  did 28 hilly miles before bowing out but actually a great ride, pity it won't be on zwiftpower. Felt a lot better for having a few days off the bike and replenishing glycogen stores (2 for 1 dominoes)

Interesting to hear the spindown issues - I'm on a snap and only been using the app, but felt wildly better today than last time out (but in line with all rides prior to the last one). Slightly afraid to do a proper spindown in case "crap" is the reality...but i'll give it a go next time out.
