DO you know if this design fault is replicated in the Kickr core

I dont know yet if its a design issue or assembly problem. The Core and Kickr have the same flywheel and belt drive so could suffer from same issue.

Not sure if it's of any interest to anyone here, but TeamZwatt are closing their FTP study in the next week, basically you get a crank based power meter for €250 plus €10 a month for a year. But you have to commit to a full FTP test once a month. I have a PM from them anyway, so I'm not going for it, but figured that it might interest some here.

Basically they offer lower-cost power meters on the basis that you feed back data to them so they can improve their products. They already produce power meters for the likes of RaceFace.

A vibration issue was reported on the Core on the Kickr fault and fix thread ... About page 6 IIRC

I use hardwired LAN for racing. I leave the wifi boosters for the kids:evil:
Yep all my devices are hard wired, WiFi is for the kids and phones, and subject to QOS restrictions ... I even have the pain cave hard wired and it's at the bottom of the garden 40m away!! Although I am going to put WiFi in for the Zwift companion App.

The balance method he used was static balance. Also the bearings on his Kickr were super smooth with no drag, so his Flywheel would rotate to the heavy point. My kickr doesnt have that smooth bearings or its just about spot on for static balance. Ideally dynamic balance should be done in the rpm range that the flywheel is used which on the 18kickr ~2000-3500rpm

Yeah it’s good to have WiFi everywhere in the house. The Zwift companion app, music apps etc etc. Choice is good....

Anyone racing tonight? I'm doing the DBR race at 7:05 UK. Nice and flati(ish) route as it is 12 x LaGuardia Loop, which is a route you can not ride outside an event.

I'll livestream my pathetic performance on my YouTube channel. You can find a recording of yesterday's "age" race there as well...
Not me tonight, taking a rest day. Good luck.

Using a powerline adapter and Ethernet? I swift in my loft via powerline and Ethernet to laptop without issue. Tried two WiFi boosters, cheap then expensive, beforehand but too many dropouts

I'm Wifi to the powerline extender, it's been rock solid since I bought it. - I have another PC and the CCTV hooked into the ethernet sockets, but need a couple of longer cables for the laptop (I have a spare 8 socket switch in there).
