Your tactics must have made a difference.

Our power readings are almost identical, but I came in around 2 minutes behind you.

Generally pleased with my ride, but twice lost groups and paid the price for it both times. Oddly, I'm losing groups mainly on the descents. I seem to be picking up a few places on the climbs. The first group I lost was actually on the descent after the KoM, having stayed with the group all the way up the climb.

del what trainer u on as im 83kg and the same is happening to me on the descents im on the neo but when I was on the bkool trainer and sim I used to catch some riders up

You averaged 161 watts on the big descent tonight, I average 223 watts, yet you was 2 seconds faster down the hill so it doesn't look like the trainer is hindering you on Zwift. Strange I am heavier, and pushing more power, but travelling slower  Was you in a big group tonight on the descent?

My FTP went from 243 to 257 :wahhey::wahhey:

Great performance - well done. :okay:

I had a bit of a nightmare. Went off quite fast out of the gate and saw a couple of CC'ers. Was just behind @Whorty for a while, but think I missed a break at some point. I struggled up the KOM and about two thirds of the way up, I blew up and just backed right off. I couldn't motivate myself to carry on "racing" so I crawled to the top and pootled the rest of the way.

Not sure if I went too hard or just an off day.

I didn't have a nightmare but last night at a work i noticed that i go bit of off the limit. Legs feel very tight especially ham of the knee show some symptoms. Now it feels okay but i keep a rest day today anyway and just in case. Tomorrow i suppose to ride stage 4 in make-up day so all the rest is welcome.

Probably just an off day, we all have them. I still expect you'll be leaving me behind next time we race!

The driver behind this update is to accommodate the females and lightweight men who struggle with raw power so often get shelled; despite having solid w/kg.

About that ZP designated category. I am always bit of suspicious about those FTP numbers and category requirements in a virtual world. As long as we are training in a virtual world i will ignore those classifications. I just try to focused my own training and try to focus only that. If there is even small possibility to cheat in a virtual world i try to concentrate my own doings. But that is also true what @uclown2002 says.

Stupid question, but where does this put me then ... C or B ? I ride C currently as my w/kg is below 3.2 (with upgraded FTP yesterday to 257 my new w/kg is 3.08). My ZP 'skills' are below. ZP still has me as C

My wife is just now trying Zwift for the first time. She is more a runner than a biker, but the weather was too dark and wet tonight, so she asked if she could use the home trainer. Having only tried Bkool, she was not too pleased she could not choose her own route of choise. I signed her up for an D-race but she just didn't have the power to stay with the group, so she's just riding todays course now.

I wanted her to experience a group ride, but I guess, with her current power level, that would only be possible with a workout event?
