Ah!

I'm getting my @berty bassett and @bobinski mixed up and thinking you live in Tulse Hill.

Loughborough to Surrey avoiding the M25 would be quite a challenge. And I hate the M25 with a vengeance!!

Still, if anyone fancies a Tour of the Surrey and Kent hills and maybe a bit of Sussex thrown in at some point in the future, I'm happy to sort out a route.

Well setting it up in the hallway turned out to be a good idea. It means when I take a tumble the ambulance crew won’t traipse mud through the house!

Man that is something different... I spent the first 30 seconds trying to remind myself I knew how to ride a bike!
I spent a year (well winter) on rollers before deciding on moving to the turbo, mainly because the rollers were so noisy (The cheap Tacx ones, ask me about the design flaw :cursing::cursing::cursing:). It's quite different. I learned in the kitchen doorway, before moving outside, did I say the rollers were noisy??:cursing:) Where we have a narrow brick shed that worked quite well ... Being brave I then moved to using a outside table as a support on one side. I have to say that I have only launched myself off the rollers once when going for an overly ambitious sprint interval, and managed to slam the brakes on and stop 'forward' momentum before anything nasty happened.

My boss broke a couple of ribs and an elbow coming off his rollers in the kitchen :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I can see myself sticking with the rollers even after the turbo turns up. Might be a bit of a bold statement considering I’ve only put 10 minutes in so far... but I can really see the benefits of it. What was wrong with the tacx ones aleman? The ones I have at my house at the mo are tacx.

Not used my rollers in years. My son wanted a try, so I ordered a new belt. An MTB on rollers doesn't work - the vibration is impossible

I've never fallen off the rollers to the side - the only times has been the bike shooting off the front and accelerating down the garage.

New York looks interesting, although more routes around the skyscrapers/Times Square etc would be fun. Looks like it's all in Central Park.
