I had a rare resistance issue at the beginning of a workout this morning. I didn’t have time to warm up and needed the time in the pen before the start. Resistance was stuck at about 300w (by feel) came out of the workout and restarted zwift but same issue. So no proper warm up and a 1/3 of the way through the workout , which as some low cadence high power too, my knee told me to stop. Frustrating. Joined the ADH ride to spin and all was ok with a nice little solo sprint before bailing.
Anyone fancy a short race tonight?

The problem with that though Andy, especially if you head my way, is you could end up on the A303 :eek::eek: Not all cyclists used sensible, safe roads :whistle::blush:

I'm checking the route that Strava builds, so that if it looks like using big roads I'll pull the route elsewhere. I cross check by street view on Google maps to see if it has cycle path or is a quiet lane :okay:

I'm planning to hit Zwift about 5 ish, but no races I fancy at that time. Instead I'll head up the KoM and see if I can improve my time on the climb. My current time is based on a workout, with lots of low watt recovery periods, so I'm pretty sure I can set a PB. Won't challenge you skinny minnies but could knock Rob and Martin down the table :ninja::boxing:

I guess ive got my 6pm ish ride planned now then just keep me informed on the time I need to beat as I think I can get 1 minute off my time but there no way im challenging Bobs time

I have been delayed at work and so wont get the chance to take advantage of your tired legs ;) Enjoy.

Too bad, it would have been easy. I parked the car in the driveway at 3:58, ran to the shed, booted the computer and joined the race at around 04:00:45. Then I went into the house and changed my clothes. Around 7 minutes after the race had started, I started riding… :heat:

It's close .... 20 seconds between 5 of us ! Something to aim for next time ^_^ Must say I worked really hard and was pleased with my time :okay:

Well that is ZA workout #9 done. Pretty hard especially with my new ftp. The last 2 min interval was tough but I managed to hang on. Just #10 and one group ride to do.

Then I'd best have a go at the 2 challenges that you guys have laid down. The big Innsbruck climb and the short climb on the ring circuit.
