Well that was interesting. Just did a ride in the Forest of Dean where I am staying - and smashed my best ever 20 minute Power, climbing the long hill out of Monmouth. The interesting part (to me anyway) was how it seemed much easier to hit the watts like this rather than on my turbo. The powermeter is the same as I use the same P1 pedals indoors or outdoors.

Is it the cooling effect outside; or the resistance in the incline (I only have a dumb trainer at home); or the motivation of being outside; or something else??

Probably the cooling effect and have you noticed if you hammer it when outside you heart doesn't feel like it's going to burst out of your chest like it does when on the trainer

Could be the cooling, the drive to crest the climb in real life. For the indoor, is there enough resistance on the turbo to push against. do you have big enough fan ?

That is true - my HR didn't really figure - maybe that is cooling related as well.

May look at getting another fan - will wait and see what the TACX Smart Bike fans are like, assuming I get one soonish.

Not particularly cheap or pretty. But it chucks air at a high rate even on the lowest setting, of 3.

Looks identical to the one I have had for a couple of years. Excellent though has become noisy over time when on on full.

Fasted workout 7 done.
Struggled to hold 110% of ftp for 10m. Need a race to motivate me.
Anyone up for a race later?
#7 was a killer workout! #8 by comparison is a doddle

#9 for me tonight I'm afraid. Want to complete the workouts over the weekend, this means I will have done all the ZA elements, I can then start to look at racing again.

Did the Bkool official race yesterday, and then the Zwift ToI Stage 2 later in the evening. Today is my restday this week, so I won't be Zwift racing.

If racing, it will be the nice flat Bkool stage I need to do in the LaVueltaBkool league.
