I've spent more than my fair share on trainer/s and kit for them. But that I would/am struggle/ing to justify :blink:.

I've got 2 pieces of kit I intend to purchase to add to my cycle kit. One indoor, one outdoor. However both are going to be rewards for targets completed. Unless there is a sudden price drop on one of them it may not be until after Christmas for either.

Anyway I'm having a redesign/relocation of the pain cave over the next few weeks in prep for both arrivals.

Got ZA Workout #7 done yesterday. Easy until the 10 minute Free Ride - which of course is as hard as you make it. I was trying to beat my best 10 minute power of 280W. I got to 8:20 and was averaging 824 but then I bailed for 40 seconds (lightweight). I then pushed hard for the final minute and finished on 278W. Annoyed with myself for wimping out.

Still that is 7 workouts, 3 group rides and a race done so far.

I might have to accept a minute plus if a lightweight youngster can only get 10 sec under the minute

I’m not sure it’s long enough for weight to make too much of a difference.
