mine updated this morning when I booted up Zwift. Wanted to register for TdeZ. will definitely ride tomorrow at some point and most likely low Z1/2 level.

I like these races that aren't a race, I did TDZ Stage 1 Long Tuesday, Medium, yesterday, so I thought I would do a steady short today, I did short but it wasn't steady! after the usual quick start I found myself putting more effort in than I anticipated, at the finish I was 12th, 9th on Zwift Power, but what surprised me most was an increase in ZRS, I didn't expect this in a group ride.

I also did the Stage 1 Short yesterday however I did treat it like a race! Although as it wasn't categorised I knew I wasn't going to be able to keep up with the leaders, but I found that my race pace was capable of keeping me at the front of the biggest group on the road (about 30th to 60th places) and I managed to hang with them until the latter stages. Got dropped on the slight uphill coming out of the Lower Thames Street tunnel as the pace started to be raised for the finish. Think I was just outside of the top 50 out of about 320 riders (40th out of 186 on ZP).

I fired up Zwift about 1130 today and no update yet. The rollout seems device and ID dependent. The update rollout usually starts on a Tuesday and I usually get mine (Mac) if I log on after Thursday 5pm. It's not always consistent though.

I was going to ask about updates. I already got one automatically for Zwift on my Apple TV 4k box, but on TPV a couple of days ago I saw a message that I should upload download an update. Why was one done automatically but the other needs me to do it?

I wouldn't worry about updates until you start riding unless prompted to do so by zwift ,no idea why they are not automatic , To update zwift on my apple TV box I have to go into the purchased cat on the app and open zwift from there if I know there's an update or you can just wait till zwift forces you to update which can take a few minutes so something to be aware of if your entering an event so I prefer to do the updates when I have plenty of time

Depends on the sophistication of the software. Some don't have auto update, require users to either select a download or go and get update and side load the update via a memory stick etc
