I'm doing the HISP Mountain Race at 6pm, if any of you good folk fancy joining. Since there don't seem to be any scratch races on Bologna any more, Mountain Mash is one of the best quick smash race courses out there.

I did this one three weeks ago, went far too hard at the start, and completely blew my tits by halfway up. No guarantee I won't do the same tonight! ^_^

I'm sure you can still join to get the badge 😁

I don't really fall for those any more. For me, the attraction of badges was double XP, which was only worthwhile as long as there were equipment gains to be had. Now at level 80 with 8 million drops there is nothing useful left to buy or earn.

The prospect of a 3 hour race with a 1 hour climb in it is "unappealing"

Question looking to stage 8 of FRR which is the 4 horseman route in zwift plus 4km more which probably adds the zwift Kom and finished up the volcano for a 2nd time 😮. Has anyone done the route and how long will it take ,zwift has 3hrs for 3w/kg and 4hrs for 2w/kg So I guess I'm going to be in the middle hopefully at 2.5w/kg realistic? ,remember this is coming after 7 stages of hard racing in 8 days
Edit just checked the distances it won't climb the volcano again so finish up the zwift kom
Sounds like repeat of one of the previous stages. Let me look through event history - should be able to find it.

It's a long old route, I would around 3 +hours. I've done it some time back. I'll see what my time was

Yeah, memory served me right @13 rider; It was stage 7 back in October 2023.

Stage 5 on 26/10/23 was Bologna TT - twice up the KOM.
Stage 6 on 27/10/23 was La Reine but all the way up the top of Ventoux.
Stage 7 on 28/10/23 was Five Horseman - i.e. The Four Horseman + a repeat of Zwift KOM. 92.6km total - the extra 4km won't take you all the way up to the Volcano.

Took me 3:02:07 and that was 57th place. Average power 3.3W/kg but with all the descents that may be quite misleading. Naturally, everyone was quite fatigued by this point in the tour.

So over 3 hours then 😂, I think I will be happy with under 4 😮, never been on a trainer that long

So I came second of two ‘B’s, but I paced my effort much better than last time. I finished strongly, almost re-catching the little Belgian chap who won - he’d had an 18s gap at one point.

juts had an email from zwift stating the latest patch 1.81 should fix my issues but it will not download , even tried a full reinstall and i only get to 1.80
I have been using my phone to get a workout in , not perfect but at least it kind of works

I don't usually get the new releases until Thursday afternoons. Try again later. They have a rollout process that usually takes a couple of days.

I like these races that aren't a race, I did TDZ Stage 1 Long Tuesday, Medium, yesterday, so I thought I would do a steady short today, I did short but it wasn't steady! after the usual quick start I found myself putting more effort in than I anticipated, at the finish I was 12th, 9th on Zwift Power, but what surprised me most was an increase in ZRS, I didn't expect this in a group ride.
