Update: four days later, nothing further from FedEx. Beginning to think I’ve got away with it.

You can get these import duty bills weeks later. It really depends who ships the product. Royal mail, FedEx will bill you. I've been lucky with UPs. Unfortunately You can't choose the courier to side step custom charges

I remember stuff from AliExpress years ago. It it was Royal Mail and under £100 it would take a while but you would usually gt through unscathed.

If it was FedEx or DHL you nearly always ended up with an invoice. Not sure on stuff from Italy now.

AliExpress now you pay VAT in advance and there are no delays, which is good.

I think I just prefer when everything is stiff - especially during sprints. If I had the room for it, I'd bolt the trainer to the floor. I sometimes find myself a foot further away from the screen after a hard effort - mind you, me+trainer is 125kg.

My rig doesn't creep much since I got a mat. I think if it did I'd bolt it down or something.

Puzzle game procrastinator!
I am currently not doing anything through Apple...! The registration process is repeatedly failing to send a code through to my phone. Hundreds of people online complaining about the same problem...

Now back to trying to set up an Apple account...
And, VERY frustratingly... I have finally accepted defeat for today! I really wanted to get Zwift installed on the Apple TV box so I could see it in action on the big screen but it will have to wait.

I tried and tried to get a verification code sent to my mobile phone before eventually deciding that I would try my landline instead. The thing is - I haven't used my landline in years! I dug out my ancient corded phone. That was completely dead! More rummaging around and I found my cordless phone and its base station. Dead batteries in the handset. I found some and put those in. No ring tone!

Round #127 tomorrow!!

At least my new jockey wheels have arrived so I can repair and install my old rear mech on the singlespeed turbo bike to use as a chain tensioner.

Hopefully, I will have got my pain corner ready by the time that the JetBlack Victory arrives in mid-February!

PS I was annoyed so I just ordered a JetBlack steerer block to cheer me up. About £23 after using the coupon and claiming cashback.

You could use the Play handlebar units, they are button controlled for steering, braking, and all that good stuff like thumbs up, alter view and deploying power ups. ^_^
