That sprint on 6/9/22 was mighty impressive, @mjd1988 ! Even better than the 10s at 1193W was that you averaged 926W for 30s! That's approaching deity territory...
Just raced Breakfast crits and grits the route for Alex's next Tuesday race 😮. Straight out the pens up the tarmac Sugr despite a 17sec pb I was dropped by the front group !! . In to Glasgow up the kicker now with another rider and we seemed to working together until he attacked me 😤 I let him go and waited for the next lone rider and we slowly pulled back the 12 sec gap 😁. Then 4 times up the reverse Brae in total ,on the 3rd ascent we dropped the guy who had attacked earlier 😂. Then once more up the Brae and finish up the tarmac Sugr ,backed my uphill sprint and just rode up with the other guy and kicked on the last steep bit and held him off for 8th on the road (5th on zp in C cat ) . Didn't even realised the guy I out sprinted was a D cat (now a C ) so I didn't need to beat him 😂 but it made it an interesting race .ZRS up again to 371. A very interesting course and could be a tactical race as the last climb isn't really long enough to suit a pure climber
It's not a course for a pure sprinter as your described 😁I may be washing my hair again next Tuesday haha I'm 2 stone heavier than you at the same watts power, it took you 38 mins - I may still be riding Wednesday morning if I join this on Tuesday haha

I found this race (there was one yesterday as well ) on the zwift racing app at 18.45 not sure if there's and more if you fancy a recon . It's wasn't terrible the start is obviously manic with the climb early unless people try for breakaways the rest is relatively rolling and the Brae in reverse didn't seem that bad then just the uphill finish which again is the easier way up the Sugr . But tactically there are so many places people could attack you will need to be fully concentratedNice one. I haven't ridden this one yet, but it looked less horrible (to me) than the hilly ones we've done so far.
I may have another crack at Loop de Loop tomorrow morning.
