Phil, I dont know your weight compared to E Lavarack, but he comfortably went over 100kph on the radio tower. The secret is to be doing 50kph already as you tip down. So ramp up earlier and supertuck Video starts where he descends

Your just trolling me now 😂😂. I think he's a tad lighter than me which makes it even worse . He did accelerate earlier than me I went as the road turned downward more another tactic for another day . My problem is having climbed the tower at any pace I like a rest at the top and change bike before being able to kick another to gain the speed

You're missing the point. The idea with minimum effort is not to PREVENT tanking, but to make it MORE EFFORT.

Currently it's a piece of piss to waltz round at the back of the Tinies and dump a tonne of points in just one hour.
Whatever system you have there will be ways round it for the determined. It's not foolproof and it's not designed to be. It's just there to make it inconvenient.

Ah, that makes more sense, didn't realise that was the intention.

Same, end result though, a lower ZRS. And a good workout in the process. If I were to want to lower my ZRS i'd want a good workout too and not just roll around bored at the back, so I see this as a win-win

Supertuck is faster in events than free ride though. Don't fancy a race up the radio tower tho!

I just did the same by accident. I raced 3 laps of UCI Richmond, smashed the crap out of Libby on lap 1 to catch up with the B pen (I was racing C) and it didn't gain me anything as the C pack caught and then killed me on climb 3.

My conclusion? Racing at 0845 on Sunday morning is bad for you  But I also lost 6 ZRS and had a good workout

Best laid plans and all that ,set off on watopia stage 5 Itza party route all the intention of a long z2 ride much faffing in the pen bike changing saw me roll out in 175th place of 178 which stopped me racing from the start .Settled in to a nice 2.2/2.3wkg pace .Overtook a few then on Titans I passed a few more .Then as we came off the descent the guy 17secs behind as me if I wanted company ? . I replied I was z2ing it if he caught fine but I'm keeping my pace . He caught me after about a km . He went in front and the pace increased a bit we were now about 155th place . Well Z2 went out the window as we took turns and just kept overtaking people 😁 , it wasn't until we overtook 5 riders in around 101 to 107 place did any riders grab our wheels . I said to the group I'm was out at the bottom of the climb and I'd climb at my pace . Sure enough they rode away but I still kept picking of people and had to sprint to the line for 99th place (75th on zp) completely pointless but it was great fun 😁
