Well, if you don’t “follow” indoor cycling, most of the names would be unknown. Many of them however have been riding Zwift for years at the A+ level, and also do the Sunday Race Club on MyWhoosh.
Michael Knudsen, one of the Danish guys, started on BKOOL and did multiple vEveresting events there back in the day.
Never heard of the Finnish guy(s) either, but they did mention that Kasper was the youngest one there. I think Teppo finished last, right?

I checked Kasper's info from the Procyclingstat's website and he is now 18yo and he is manage pretty well. Time tell how much he have potential to develop. I hope that I can see Finnish male riders in World Tour in a future. Jaakko Hänninen is going to Nice Metropole Cote d'Azur team which is Continental team, that is 1-year contract. Teppo was last only with 8-points.

I display electricity meter when I do indoor training...just kidding 😁.Maybe we should do what Pogacar is doing, following heart rates only. He said power meters aren't accurate, but maybe he meant that Shimano Power meters are not reliable, especially after GPLama's test that could be true.

4 started in D group. I launched out of the gate as normal. With a few hundred yards I had 4 secs lead. I thought I would test out my legs up the first climb-a new PB 😁. By now I had 30 secs lead. Lap 1 complete over a min and two of the four riders had dropped out

Left me and an Aussie. My lead grew , by lap 3 I was 2.15 in front, he then dropped out

I solo'd to the finish, found my OBR had reset the screen capture, so no evidence of my crushing victory

Oh and my race score dropped nearly 50 points with a victory

Looks like some sort of bug as ZP still has you at 384, as does Companion App when I look at your profile. That should be the correct outcome because if everyone else DNFed their presence is negated. Shame that. Sounds like you scared 'em off with your big dig on climb 1. I did the opposite and saved it for the end - put in a huge dig right at the bottom of the final climb and kept it going as long as I could. It was enough for 2nd, but only just.

I was just chancing my arm for a few hundred yards, to see if anyone was up for a race, alas not. Good to try out my fitness in a race, albeit low attendance. I would probably had played it differently if there were a group to draft behind

Well I've put myself down for the evening Cyclopathon race, but looking at the quality of the field I think I'm in for a tough time. Phil's also signed up so perhaps he can give me a tow when he laps me!
Just checked your racing score is higher than mine ( by 2 ) so I expect you to drop me on the downhills. See you in the pens ,I'm hoping for a sensible pace on the first couple of climbs so you might be able to hold on

I was pleasantly surprised that my pen raced as if they knew we had to go up that punch 7 times. Hopefully yours will be civilised too
Yes it was very much like that ,hard but not stupid on the early climbs ,Was with the lead bunch on the last downhill at the back of the group resting just before the kick before the last climb when someone jumped off the front at 9w/kg and split the group and I found myself chasing up the last climb was in 4th place a few metres back from 2 riders at 500mts to go so a launched a sprint early past them both only for my legs to fall off and 1 got me on the line so 3rd it was , should have been 2nd if I'd been better placed don't think I could have held onto the winner ,set a pr on the last climb so can't be that unhappy , Great race by Steve never in danger of getting lapped was with the front group until the last but 1 climb

8th out of 9 for me, although I'll say it was 10 as one guy quit after getting dropped on the climb at the end of lap 1.

Used up a lot of energy staying with the group for the first three laps and tried to get some back by coasting down the slope at the start of lap 4, but lost the draft and had to burn all my matches to catch back on. That meant there was no chance of holding on up the next climb and I watched the group disappear into the distance. But I had over a minute gap to the only person behind me (who was dropped the lap before) so I was comfortable to finish at my own pace.

Video, but the good bit is at 32:00 where I switch to watch Phil's finish:
