I've always found that the only way to beat the guys with a massive sprint, is to go early and either hope they leave their sprint too late, or that they don't have a long sprint so they fade. It's my only tactic
Sorry Carl got all my timings wrong, was reading your post, then thinking I've got nearly an hour. Only to find I had 5 mins to get sorted- missed the start by 30secs arrgh
Did stage 4 bag the badge New York again. I was suffering all the way with no warm up at all. Was 8 th with just over a km to go, got swamped, had nothing to go with the push. I backed off and went for minor place sprint.
Had one of my best peak power sprint in an actual race 1123W
See if I held it to get a new 15s sprint when ZP updates
Are you using Ant+ or just Bluetooth?
I use both ant+ for the turbo and HRM. Bluetooth for Play controller. I very rarely lose HRM- dying battery usual culprit
I read that this ZRL Summer Showdown is only 4 riders per race - so in theory we do already have enough for a team of 4. Shall we go ahead and register the team? Hopefully if any of this initial 4 riders can't make a particular race we can find smeone willing to step in! (Up to 10 people allowed in the squad)
And with this in mind, what is your preferred timeslot guys? Options (that work for me!) are UK times: 6pm, 6.30pm, 7pm, 7.30pm or 7.45pm.
My preference would probably be 6.30pm but I can do any so will go with what works for those with more restrictions
@Girafitti @Legs @mjd1988
I can only make 7 pm my time work. I'm afraid that's 8 pm UK time?
