Happy new Year my fellow Zwifters

New season for fatties. Flat n Fast

Easy pace with a sprint finish. Slightly spoilt by a dodgy rider, who rode off the front with a constant 400W :cursing:

Anyhow, sprint was ok, peaking over 1 kWatts. 10th ZP

When are you off Peter , the course is deceptively hard absolutely nowhere to recover , Averaged 2.8w/kg and did a 20 mins at 3w/kg . Paced it reasonable although I thought I was dying at the end I did reel about 4 riders who pasted me on the outward leg . After getting a right kicking in the last tour I've been demoted to JLP so suffered slightly less of a kicking today but a fairly flat TT doesn't suit me let's see how the rest go ,if I do them not totally committed

I'm targeting the 6 o'clock event. No Z2 this time - I'm racing all stages. Updated rules mean I have to enter the A pen, where my class (GHT) is the lowest 😬

Don't really have a plan, other than to take it easy at the start, which is downhill, and then modulate the power, slightly, depending on gradient. Hoping for a 4W/kg average and a time under 65 minutes.

I was in pen C and we started first so you will have people to chase , A pen caught us by 10km 😂 ,The only longish climb is within the lead in everything else is just rolling not 2 bad of a course to hold a constant power on

I am also on at 6 given i bailed on the 8am this morning. I'll wave as you ride past me.
Plantar fascitis aside, i can feel 440km riding and a bit of rowing this last week or so in my legs and figure best to ride this as active recovery to ease into the series. That means 180w and risk i may come dead last given i have been upgraded to BON/B.
