If anyone fancies a lap of Innsbruckring tomorrow at 1045, that's this weeks Firday Smash.

@Peter Salt it looks like you've got some actual opposition in your pen this week.
@13 rider there are 4 people in pen D and I have fixed the ZP config so you won't be upgraded to C
I think the weather looks like an outside ride is in order ,I am going a bit stir crazy not getting outdoors , If I am not outdoors I will be there

Yeah I've gone drastic and installed a music system and was even reading a kindle book today while doing my zone 2 ride.
The wind has been horrible though. I've forgotten what riding outside even is.

I did an outside 50 today and the wind was upto 50mph. Luckily it stayed mainly dry until the last half hour when I got properly soaked. Happy days

I managed to get a race before going out with friends for a meal.

Lumpy New York Astoria loop. Bigish group 130 I think in the end. Tried to hold onto the front pack, but eventually got dropped. Settled into a group of five which grew to 10 around mid 20s on the road. We settled down knowing we were evenly matched and had a sprint finish. I came 27th quite pleased being a long lumpy race

Three victories out of three for the Cyclechat boys. Not a bad morning all told!

Bloody hard work though. Forgot how tough it can be in an all pens together race - when one of your pen decides to try to stay with the A's, you have to follow them or lose the pack. Held on until the rise up to the bridge over the river where four of us dropped off the back, then barely clung on to the remaining other D rider on the Legsnapper, before outsprinting him in the final 350 metres.

At a work we start to 1-year trial. I have done 8hr shift work before for a long time but now we are testing 12hr shift. Which means 2-morning and 2 night shift, after that we have 6-days off. Work period is around a clock from 7 to 7. First experience is that work period is very intense so there's no time for cycling at all. I would say less cycling than before, definitely not more.
