I have a short break of cycling now. Noticed that i have wear too big cycling shoes. Especially when i ride with trainer my foot is moving too much in a shoe and causing blisters and abrasions. I ordered smaller Lake shoes (same model) what should fit better and prevent any issues. Too big shoes obiously causes loss of power as well, i hope that lack improves as well.
Funnily enough i have just done the same and with Lake shoes too. Took the insoles out and you could see where my toes were rubbing into the insole from the movement and crunching into the sole to stop that very movement. Feels so much better now and old shoes now used for winter rides with thick socks.
