Well we were pretty lucky with the weather. Dry apart from one shower.

Got a 5th in Cat (17th overall). Very quick race, averaged 26.2mph. My final lap was an insane 2:58 29.2 mph. Decent chunk of British Cycling (W)Ranking Points for that one

Probably do a Race Report later.

A few days off from racing felt I had fresh legs. Crit race with the Rhinos around Neokyo. I checked out ZP marked my what I thought was the main rivals, big guys with decent power. Has it turns out, I was watching the wrong guys

Set my sprint point, everyone ignored me and went a few seconds early :cursing: I should have won this one, given I was gaining rapidly on the 3 who beat me, got the sprint jersey as consolation.

One DQ'd in the official results

Nice - definitely had the power numbers. I definitely think it's easier to time a sprint when it's in metres but I respect that you aren't changing that any time soon!

Went KOM-sniping this morning on my local hill, which is just a long drag really. Nearly got it, but I’m in quite exalted company on the leaderboard!

You need a lead out man to take you into the segment at speed, get a bit of draft then go full beans.

Most of the segments Kom's where I used to live were on club runs where the pack drafting each other would fly into the start, sling-shotting the best riders

That'd definitely help - it's definitely a draftable climb - I was doing nearly 30mph on the shallow bits. I hit the segment perhaps a bit too hard, I nearly got air on the little humpback bridge just before the segment start!

Do you think Sepp Kuss has enough lead over his team mates to be leader for the rest of the Vuelta?
Technically he's not leading yet , He will lose a bit of time in the TT , If jumbo still use him as a domestique then no I don't think he's got enough time ,if they treat him as a third leader then probably enough time . Gives Jumbo that many cards to play making it a nightmare for other team who do they mark .
