I'm gonna do the Tiny Races this morning - well, I plan to do Race 1 and then see how I feel

I see @alex_cycles is racing - but unfortunately I am in B now

3rd, 5th, 1st, 5th by the time the DQs kick in. The "winner" of races 3 & 4 didn't do 1 & 2 so will get DQed.

I beat David Hivey on a downhill finish  on race 3 with good anvil timing to get gold  (3rd FAL but 2 DQs)

I wanted to quit after every single race. Glad I kept going though. Great training, but it hurts.

I raced the Tiny Rcaes today in C. My first races in, well, such a long time. I just aimed to finish and perhaps hang on to the tails of the lead group. I was surprised to see a few names oi thought might have moved up to B and said so if only to ruffle a few feathers. I am sure they had their reasons...
Anyway, against expectations, enjoyed it, although the first start was a bit of a shock, and will proably make it a regular, perhaps with a TTT on a thursday.

Ooh - I didn't see any of that as I have race Chat disabled.
Strangely, after a couple of months in B, CE has put me back in C, but I won't be there for long. I'm expecting to be back in B on 12th September after the DRS prologue race which goes up Fox Hill after 2km (so on fresh legs - a great chance to exceed the zMAP threshold of 4.1).
But until then I'm wreaking havoc in C and loving every minute of it.

I am going to have to learn the new draft. I liked not yo yoing but looking at the results i can see i am putting out too much power at the wrong times mainly fearing i will fall off the back.

Yeah it is a bit different. Pace partners are good to practise that.

Anyone ever used this website to pick fastest bike for each route? Personalised to whatever level/number of drops you have etc

https://zwifterbikes.web.app/route/col-du-tourmalet

Yep. I use it a lot. It's based on the Zwift Insider data, so it gives you a basic idea based on the number of metres of climb and flat smerged together into averages.

It's good for ball-park, but doesn't take into account drafting etc. so you need to use it intelligently. It's definitely quicker and easier than using the old ZI charts though
