17 days! Flying in and out of Denver, hiring an RV and driving through Colorado and Wyoming to Yellowstone, back through the Grand Tetons and Rockies. Should be brilliant 🤩

Sounds class! Are you getting away with any cycling? Colorado is a bit of a Mecca for cycling there isn't it, or am I just thinking of lance armstrong

First post operation ride today ... the Climb Portal Col Des Aravis ... so far so good. No pain. There is still a wound that hasn't completely healed but that looks OK so far.

If all good tomorrow I may have another 40 min spin ^_^

Hi chaps. I hope all is well. I see many of you are still flat out racing on Zwift and enjoying the new climb portal. I have yet to try it but I hope they turn on some proper roadside graphics in time for autumn - trees, goats, and squirrels etc!

Just checking in to see if any of you are heading to Glasgow in a few weeks for the Cycling worlds? I head over by ferry / bus on Friday 4th. Would be good to catch up IRL if anyone is up for it.

Sort of. I'm going down the road to Perth to race the Gran Fondo World Champs on 4th.

If anyone is really, really bored tomorrow you can "watch" my progress in the Reifen Racing Circuit Race. There is a Live Link. It starts at 12:30 and lasts 90 minutes

Looks like a nice little circuit
This is quite cool

Entered DBR event on the Eastern Eight course. I was ranked around 15th ZP.. I knew the climbs would be my struggle points. I was dropped from the lead pack part way up the first titan climb. Joined by two others as we crested. I quickly dropped them with steering around the tight lines. A gathered another rider just before we left onto the desert road. He was strong, putting in digs to drop me,

I used the steering to keep me in his draft for a good 10 miles.

I thought he was trying to make a concerted effort to drop me , the upside we started catching 3 riders 30secs in front. When we got to within 8 secs I went for it to make the bridge. I was successful but the rider I was with, faded, then retired from the event.

A few miles in this group of four, but was dropped on the reverse titan climb. I paced myself to the finish but was quite knackered after 80 mins of racing. 18th on ZP reasonably happy from nearly 50 starters

Haha, anyone remember that TV commercial, where a guy does all sort of extreme sports with no problems, then gets back home and a shelf falls on his head?

I have a similar story from yesterday. I was planning an outdoor ride, and my GF was quite worried because forecast was for thunderstorms. Anyways, did the ride alright, no issues whatsoever, came back home and had a fall in the bathroom. Lights out, lost consciousness, 6h in A&E, fractured cheek bone. Now it's kind of funny, but holy smokes, got a good scare.
