Oh finally got a ghost power long sprint success. Although weigh in tomorrow may impede future sucess
That must have been satisfying :becool:

I'm in the FRR later today. Route includes the Volcano so will maybe try a PB.

The stage 2 again, better result, 7th instead of 19th. A small group of 10 broke away on lap 2 . My ZP ranking currently was 7th against the other riders, so I managed expectations

Still beset with technical issues.

Left the computer switched on from last event, which drained the Zwift steering. Only managed to get the left control to link, so could only turn left:laugh:

I'm going to have a crack at the Hill Climb tomorrow as it's week 1 again. Titans Grove Reverse.
No draft so I'm going TT bike with a target of 415W (which is equal to my record for that one).

Then on Saturday I'm doing this one at 1700...

ZP says 415w for 1m40s which is interesting because I was WAY over at the start and WAY under at the end. (I was falling off a cliff )
Got bronze. There were 9 of us but only 3 on ZP. So LAST, but not last.
New power PRs for 60 (477w, 7.1w/kg) and 90s (427w, 6.4w/kg) though. Nice email from intervals 😁

Really makes a difference when you can bimble all the way to the segment and then smash it.

You could definitely knock a few seconds off that time by starting your effort earlier and crossing the start line faster. You crossed the start line at 33km/h - it could easily have been north of 40km/h and I don’t think that would have cost you much at the tail end of your effort.

Yes I had intended to do exactly that but for some reason I didn't ramp up soon enough

With my on going health issue ( kidney stone) and the rubbish weather I've lost a bit of my cycling mojo .Being doing 30 mins with robo pacers just to turn the legs over . Tonight I dropped in with Miguel 1.8wkgs on RGV and trundled around for 20 mins then started attacking segments for a bit of intensity and on balloon sprint reverse a strange thing happened afterwards my jersey changed to green ,how did that happen ! . Timed the sprint perfectly right from the back of the big group and straight through and was still just about in the draft as I crossed the line . Messed up the finish line sprint let someone jump first and didn't quite catch them missed about by 0.12 secs .Then I blew up 😂 a good 45min workout though

Nice one Phil! Sorry to hear about the kidney stone. Jo had them during both her pregnancies and said they were as bad as the childbirths 😣

How did the weigh-in go? I’ve had a week of crisps and banana cake, so all my abstemiousness for the hill-climb events has been wasted and I’m back up near 74kg…

Off to America in 10 days, so I’m going to focus on workouts until then - and after I get back- rather than struggling and failing to be competitive in races.

Didn't get a chance on a fairly hectic morning so it'll wait till tomorrow!
I'm assuming (hoping) around 2kg max, I haven't weighed in ages.

How long are you away to the states?
