Considered bailing out of the race, but noticed @bridgy done the Atlantic race, which was earlier. Looks like everyone got the memo that it's a points race and took it super easy outside of the segments. That kind of cheered me up. Will definitely have a proper go at the sprint, at least.

Yeah it was a bit too hot for that to be honest- did the earlier one because I am busy this evening but it's probably even hotter now.

I did ok - 9th overall I think- but my final sprint was a disastrous (went too late, and had no legs left when I did!) I think I scored in all the segments though.

Folk paid nearly that for steering add on. I don't use hardly any of the features of Zwift, because they are fiddly to use on my mini keyboard. Having the common actions at your fingertips would make it more interesting. I like the 5 sec looking back feature, would aid making better videos.😁

I suppose that is fair, dcrainmaker seems to like it as well. Will watch this space

Hmm, I used to have the Bluetooth button on my bars but I can't get it to pair properly now. I've now got a keyboard with a f**koff long cable to my laptop, mounted on the shelf to my left-hand side, next to my bottles and emergency chocolate.

Companion app does everything nicely, personally I don's need those. But I can imagine when GPLama launches his review everybody says it's a best what is happened in Zwift after... . If someone likes it then feel free to buy it.

Nah, don't need it. Technically, wouldn't you be able to tape any controller to your handlebar and use it for the same stuff?

[EDIT]: Was too tired to type yesterday, but I did quite well in the DIRT race. Turned out to be a perfect event - everyone literally pootled around between the Legsnapper, and I had enough in me to smash it for a minute + that one sprint. Looks like 4th place in the end, but the guy that won just got promoted to Ruby so I'm technically 3rd Skipping Bologna next week

In the FRR, it's Makuri 40 on Friday. 5 sprint segments (but one will count as KOM), still in 2nd in the sprinters classification there.

I think it’s the odd shaped shifter hoods rather than the bars, which look normal. Looking at the device and my Atom I can’t see why they wouldn’t fit but according to the blurb they aren’t compatible.

I need @Whorty to give it a go first and be a test subject
