I have thought you would have gone for the shorter flatter route 😂

Stage 3 will be the short route, I need to get the Le Reine badge but in the office 3 of the 4 days of stage 3, so won't have time to do it.

OK, a pet peeve of mine. Zwift only seems to record your power stats etc once the clock starts running in races. Today for example, that was about 30 seconds into the race. This equated to 3W off my best 5 minute power and nearly 10 TSS. The only way I can "recover" these is by uploading the Garmin file and deleting the Zwift files - this loses segment times etc.

1st world problem I know, but a bit tiresome nonetheless.

Yes. @Peter Salt and I have noticed that.

Can you take the TSS from Garmin Connect and tweak it in intervals.icu, leaving the Zwift files alone? I've never tried but you might be able to edit it? (Answer - I've checked and yes you can)

Ah thanks - that sorts the TSS side of things. It does remove the peak power stats though which only matters when I set new bests.

One of the Zwift devs is asking for people's opinions on his proposed ideas to tweak powerups.
https://forums.zwift.com/t/tune-power-ups/599058/1

One of them is to make burritos last for a MINUTE! I haven't seen anyone support that one yet, although plenty of people suggested binning them.

divisive as they are I like a good power up and in my opinion it would be amazing if they expanded the selection…some ideas…I’m sure there are many more 😊
The Cancellara - 50% power boost for 5 minutes repeated as and when required;
The Shark - the team car pulls up alongside, hands out a sticky bottle and tows you up to the next group on the road
The Atomic Tadpole - a burst of power with any rider in the way getting knocked off theyre bike

and to balance it out some negative power ups - I wish they’d kept the anvil effect for uphills slowing the rider down
The Dumoulin - rider needs an urgent toilet stop and must pull over for 30 seconds (graphics optional)
The Schelck- chain off at a critical but random moment
The Sagan - camera moto takes out an opponent for the race / remainder of ZRL season

Chalked up Alpe #20 this morning. I’ll probably never do it again after I get the Masochist badge (unless I take a load of PEDs and getting sub-45 becomes viable! 😉)

In other news, my 5yo clocked 7:56 around the Volcano Circuit yesterday (I’m not entirely convinced that the Zwift physics are well tailored to 20kg people with sustainable power of around 60W!)

I somewhat foolishly changed my Zwift name to include the word Neobike. The bike or the internet clearly didn’t like the arrogance of the gesture and the bloody thing has now stopped working 🙄😬 It’s a replacement unit out of warranty for a unit also out of warranty that died similarly 2years ago. Let’s see what Garmin does.
Zwift liked the name change and took the opportunity to update my power numbers with some very old, I suspect, bkool numbers-remember those days?
