Anyone doing three little sisters tomorrow , radio tower to look foward too

I did Three Sisters (not little sisters tomorrow) recently. For tomorrow's jolity, I've picked a 3R race. 4 laps of Mech Isle Loop at 1545. Join me for your warm-up. I've heard you like riding a lot  Only 16km. Should be over in about half an hour. Then you can do your short, flat Stage 3.

Much like the others, I held the front group until the first climb, got dropped but reached the top in a small pack of four riders in about 25th, but our numbers were too small to hold off any of the larger packs behind us and we got swallowed up easily in the desert flats (twice in fact). Eventually that became a pack of about 20, but half of them made the jump to a group of A's barrelling through as we went up the climb leading out of the desert. I tried to leap across but couldn't quite bridge, so sat up and let the 10 or so who remained catch me.

Sat in this group thinking I was doing okay to hang on to them, but looking back I think it was more because no-one in the group had anything left - had anyone made any sort of effort, I'd have been dropped. As it was we were haemorrhaging time to the group ahead even though they were no longer riding with A's now.

When we finally reached the Volcano, everyone split up with four riders pulling away ahead of me, three left in my wake and two riding with me. Those two dropped me with an acceleration straight after the flat section in the middle, but I managed to keep them in my sights and they only got 5-6 seconds on me in the end - 31st in my group, but not sure what placing I got amongst the CAY's.

Flame rouge must have altered the starts in the tour of Britiania the A started first and you didn't have the issue of faster riders catching slower groups ,but then C cat riders jumped into the A pen for a faster time hanging on to the A cats

Will give tomorrow's event a miss I think
I'd be tempted to, but it's a badge I'm missing and I am still off work tomorrow, so may do the 2pm race but treat it as a tempo ride just to register a time for GC.

The rest of the week's races I haven't decided on which to do - luckily with the rail strikes I'll have to work from home, so the 5:30pm or 6:30pm slots are possibilities. Have not done Eastern Eight before so that's a probability. Figure 8 however I've done too many times, plus the distance suggests they've made it 1 1/3 laps, so that's an extra climb I guess.

The weekend races however I'd rather not. 77km finishing up the Epic, then an iTT up the Alpe? Count me out.

Chaps I have some cycling jerseys that have been in the wardrobe a few years but had very little wear. A combination of losing a bit of weight and preferring a snug fit means they’d be better suited to someone else. I don’t want anything more than postage. Pls PM me if you’d like one or more of them. Or I’ll offer them on the market place thread if there’s no takers here

They’re all short sleeved

Rapha pro team jersey - white - XXL
VLW
Rapha classic jersey - Navy Blue XXL
VLW
Rapha classic jersey - white - XL
VLW
Rapha super lightweight jersey - white - XL
NW
Rapha Classic flyweight jersey - slate blue (?) -XL
NW
Void jersey - white / black / grey camo print XL
LW
Assos SS.cento jersey - Black with white back XL
NW

NW - never worn
VLW - very light wear
LW - lightly worn

Have you never tried a normal size ?

Same. Might even be none. Don't know. Kind of an awkward week for me with various appointments etc. also need to fit in the new zRacing week 1 race and Saturday will/should be my first Tiny Races for two months after being exiled to B'ville by Mr CE.

I just saw that and laughed. Phil's having a week of "not looking at the instructions" so I bet he hasn't seen that yet
I'd love to do a race up the Alpe with draft and on my new Aethos with Roval Alpinist wheels

@CXRAndy @steverob Consider this one tomorrow in C https://www.zwift.com/uk/events/view/3376786 I'll be riding it on a gravel bike. 4 laps of Mech Isle Loop.

Great efforts @CXRAndy, @13 rider & @steverob. Result doesn't matter that much - as long as you give it everything :okay: I had some Haribos mid-ride that (sort of) kept me going.

Some 'interesting' courses in Tour Watopia for sure, and no official rest day this time round. Planning to do all of them - barring injury or some other disaster. Made it a bit more fun by riding three days before it started too
