1-man FAL breakaway on Railway Climb. First ever #1 FAL, but that was my lot for the day. 1 min 34 at 364W, took it by >4s

We got 5th and are 5th in the league, but there's only 2 points to 3rd. Carl got some good sprint points. Carl and Andy were top 20 and everyone was <60. Good show on a hard course.

I definitely found my sprint legs last night ... highest ever 15 second power, just over 1000 watts. Still a few hundred short of what I need to really compete in this league, but I'm pleased with that. And wasn't dropped until the final lap so that was a real positive too.

Some great team efforts as always .. 5th in that league, with some of the riders we have to face, is really impressive

And loved your solo attack :notworthy::cheers:

Oddly, the WICR have just announced they are doing exactly the same thing for December and January -
and people are NOT happy about it at all. Added to the scheduling changes, it looks like it might kill the event (either that or people are all huffy and full of sheet ).

If you've got the legs, you could always give it a try and see how it goes?

tbf, it's what I'd do on a flat course ... I'd be fairly confident of holding on to a decent B group, I'd be working hard but I'd get such a time advantage. So seems a bit strange to allow it as it gives those towards the top of the cat an advantage, and those lower down would have to work much harder.

Amazingly I got a silver medal in my C Cat Zwift race yesterday.

It isn't as good as it sounds however ^_^ It was a 16km Crit City race and there were 14 starters. This dropped to a lead group of 9 who stayed together (apart from 1 rider) and it was a charge up the last kicker and to the finish. I was 6th on Zwift but 2nd on ZP where there were only 5 finishers

I was quite pleased with my form however - and I'll take the silver even if it is a bit weak

I thought, I guess wrongly, that at some point in the past they amalgamated zwift and ZP so the results were the same on both? I have realised since then that this isn’t the thing. But wasn’t that going to be the thing?

They own it and have done very little to it other than combine the logins with the main zwift domain.
From following discussions on the zwift forums it looks like they are currently evaluating the categorisation and ranking methods available in order to build their own. But allowing race organisers to set categorisation parameters is very much baked into that.
What role ZP will have in the outcome is still very much up in the air, but I can't see them ditching it for at least a couple of years.

Good progress
You can get CTL on intervals.icu free. :okay:

Thanks Alex. I was on Intervals.icu but not used it for best part of a year. I've downloaded rides from Strava from when I got back on the bike.

Is there a way to set my FTP and weight figures retrospectively? Intervals calculated all the rides with my old FTP and weight.

Yes, you can manually change FTP on Intervals 👍

You can certainly set it for specific rides, not sure if you can do a date range though

If you change it in settings it will apply globally to everything new from now onwards. But you might have to do the rides manually for the last 42 days to get your data aligned
