Grandchild for you

One of my apprentices had never heard of Kevin Costner before today… made me feel depressingly old…

Definitely that as well. I'm rarely looking where I'm going on the exercise bike - sometimes close my eyes, actually. Upper body moves a lot, presumably cause the bike can't.I watched some YouTube of the guys really top of the zp rankings and a few of them have a very specific sprint style. Just nothing like what’s possible outside in the real world. Not transferable at all. But I guess very effective on zwift or they wouldn’t be doing it. Some of them really grinding quite a low cadence even at full pelt.
WHO?

120RPM definitely works for me. In the highest gear (on the exercise bike), I lose 10-15% of power. But my highest gear may be too hard - you can do 250W at 25RPM
Interestingly my cadence seems to be a bit lower (superimposed the last race below, maybe not the best example as it's lots of little sprints). I do hit 118 ony fastest sprint but for most of the others it's barely hitting 100. When I look back at my best ever numbers the cadence was 132 so maybe I should be looking to work on that. Mind you my left crank has been a bit weird so maybe I'm subconsciously been keeping the cadence lower? You can definitely overanalyze these things
It's generally high 70s to mid 80s, usually 80. I think whatever is natural is generally pretty good. What is your "normal" riding cadence? I tend to ride about 70ish average, which many people say is low, but it works for me.
In this weeks ZRL I only really went for one sprint after a mini-breakaway, which gave me about 546 Watts at 93 RPM on lap 3 (standing).

Glad to see Mario Cipollini managed to get upgraded to c catI think my best sprints are usually 100-120, but overall average for riding is low 70s. Don't think I can do much over 120 standing up
Haven't really done much sprinting this season, focussing on the punchier, climbier segments. It hasn't really been worth it as there are so many kilowatt monsters in our league. Here's the top 11 from this week's race...

I’m kind of hoping the type of c catergory mario is in right now doesn’t have spin bikes.
Oh yikes missed that news

Breakway FALs is the only chance.
I was number 11 there Even my best ever 15 seconds wouldn't have got me on the podium ... I need to try harder
