I know we say this after every one but that really was a tough race course!
Who else was dreading that final climb?!
Well done, you and @Girafitti were flying. Did you have a technical @BurningLegs ? Didn't see you
I had a horrible realisation with 19 seconds to go that I wasn't wearing a HRM, figured there was no chance of getting it on in time so just decided to go all out at the start for the first climb, even put in the odd dig at the front. Totally lost the run of myself and crawled up the climb. Surprised myself by finishing in the end! Great workout, anything that bad has to be good training...right?

Finished 3rd out of the legitimate D's across the line, but won the prime up the first KOM and got fastest time as well. At the moment ZwiftPower is showing Prime Points based on both KOMs, so I'm hoping they correct that soon, as I should finish 1st if I've calculated it correctly (currently has me as 3rd on points).

I wasn’t able to race in the end. My wife called me in for dad duties five minutes before the start. Both our three year old and 8 month old woke up upset so she needed some help and I missed the start.
I did think about cruising to the KOM and blasting up it to try and get the fastest time points but didn’t have the motivation and doubt I’d set a fast time without any other racers to chase!

Points are now correct and indeed I did get first place, but it was bloody close!
Looks like I just pretty much hit 2.5 w/kg dead on and my main rival went just over, which is a first for this series - we've been winning races by doing mid 2.3's in all the previous rounds.
In fact the guy who finished just seconds behind me did actually get WKG'd by ZwiftPower, which is a little annoying as he made me sprint up the last bit of the KOM to stay ahead of him - had I known he'd get DQ'd, I wouldn't have bothered!

Completely messed up the first climb .. was expecting to start the KoM at 10km in so let everyone go thinking I'll catch them once the climb starts proper ... but it had already started
Joffey did the same, but I didn't have the legs tonight to chase. Came in 16th when I was hoping for a top 10
