I was planning to go out for a ride tonight but it's currently p*ssing down here and forecast is still a bit ropey for this afternoon, so I might do the RWB race again at 7pm - I see there's a few of you already signed up too so good luck all for later 👍

Fancy entering Cat C and forcing the pace on the flat?

After seeing the amount of abuse a couple of Cat As got in the in-game chat last week when they entered the Cat B race, no I think I'd better not

Is Nick riding and calling out tonight?

Just signed up. Must remember to adjust trainer difficulty

Speaking of which, rgt defaults to 100% so worth checking that if anyone is racing Sunday (altho no long climbs)

For anyone taking part tonight, some excellent detective work by @Whorty has clarified that the Prime points are only for the FIRST time up the KOM, not the second (which is the finish line). Remember that it's 10 points for first over the top, but 20 points for fastest time, so even if you're not in the front group, you can still score well if you blitz the climb.
I was about to ask this so thanks Steve and Carl! It's a bit of a confusing route because in theory "The Highline" is only 10.5km long and starts at the top of the KOM, but it has a really long "Lead in" which includes a climb of the New York KOM. And the lead in is variously described as being 5km long and 10km long in the Zwift Insider description - looks like this one is about a 10km lead in

Yeah, it's a bit crazy that the lead-in is almost as long as the actual course! As I still ride in imperial measurements, for me it's 6.2 miles for the lead-in and 6.5 for the Highline lap, with more climbing overall in the former than the latter.

I think the discrepancy on ZwiftInsider is because it's 10km from the pens, but if free riding you spawn somewhere already on the glass roads, so while it's still a fair ride to the KOM, it's nowhere near as much.
