Well done, you and @Girafitti were flying. Did you have a technical @BurningLegs ? Didn't see you
I had a horrible realisation with 19 seconds to go that I wasn't wearing a HRM, figured there was no chance of getting it on in time so just decided to go all out at the start for the first climb, even put in the odd dig at the front. Totally lost the run of myself and crawled up the climb. Surprised myself by finishing in the end! Great workout, anything that bad has to be good training...right?
How'd C and D squad get on?
What's the HRM rule? There is a lad above me who wasn't wearing one...
Unlike most races, HRM is not required in the Team IRL / RWB races.

Genarally speaking, i have wonder many times why so many Zwifters don’t use HRM. Do they scare to reveal their high readings or what, i don’t thing the answer is they don’t have one. When i do indoor training heart rate zones and power zones are both important to me, that’s why i have avoid over training as well.Unlike most races, HRM is not required in the Team IRL / RWB races.

That's a good reason if your hr don't change much and it's stable. For me shift work do some tricks from time to time and it can give me some overload and raise my heart rate higher even base training. Therefore HRM is priceless help for me.There is a third option Juhal. I don’t wear one unless the race require it because I don’t really use the data. I very rarely use one outside. I normally fall into the same area with regards BPM. And beyond that if I’m trying to look at the difference between two sessions where my BPM may have changed a bit then the variables are two wide to really conclude much about the small changes. So I normally defer to power numbers.
I totally understand why people like them. But I think for me it’s unnecessary and for other people they find it useful.
I don’t really know why they insist on people using them in the races either. If someone wants to cheat then having to wear a hrm won’t stop them.
Just saw the weather report for Mon-Wed next week ....
Needless to say I'll be looking to head out into the real world so putting it there now that I'm unlikely to be Zwifting Tuesday evening
I'm cooking chicken pasanda at 7pm so can't make the fun.
I'll do a Billy-No-Mates TT tomorrow morning instead.

Knocked out a 17s PB on Tempus Fugit this morning. Bit disappointed that my FTP only went up by 1W; my power had a little dip in the middle which was going to get counted in the best 20 mins (297W). 300W is just in touching distance...
