I really enjoyed that. Hard work for the 4 of us trying to stay away from 23 but when they caught up the hill we stayed with them waiting for them to jump. I screwed up the escalator high revs low power trick up the escalator and was dropped but listened in on discord to Joffey riding to glory and into the arms of #68 next season👍

Cheers everyone, that was tough!

Thanks CCC, that was some dig to get me to Box Hill as quick as you did! :thanks: I couldn’t have done that without you.

Thanks @bridgy for organising it - do you need my bank info for the cash prize?

Were you taking turns at the front or did you keep out of wind then go for it? Bound to be near new FTP?

Well done everyone, I enjoyed that in a "type 2 fun" kind if way!

Well done @Joffey great ride mate :bravo:. (Team CCC if he can do that I'd be expecting him to do at least 50-60% of your TTTs on the front from now on :okay:)

Great sprint for second place between @peterob and @mjd1988 which I thought Pete took but the results show otherwise?

Would be happy to do that again if people are up for it- it could be a good way to keep fit and practice working as a team before the next ZRL season starts...

It gets a bit difficult with finishing positions in meetups as the line is in different places for everyone. That 15.3 miles is measured exactly from where your warmup trainer was located, so if you were five riders behind someone during the countdown period, your blue finishing line will also be five rider lengths earlier than that other guy. It does mean everyone does the exact same distance, but it doesn't make it easy to tell on screen who won initially - you sometimes have to wait for the results screen to appear.

I didn't realise that- it's a bit rubbish really isn't it as it can spoil a sprint finish 😡
