Some dodgy riders tonight .... 2 in particular doing the saw-tooth method. 5 w/kg one second, 0 w/kg the next. May have to flag them. One guy finished the race at 3.6 w/kg for the whole ride (and somehow didn't win!)
Yeah report them to race control by email if it's obvious they were doing that. Some trainers/PMs seem to be particularly prone to giving sticky high watts from that - as we remember from the bkool days! More people seem to be discovering it and it needs to be stamped on hard by the race organisers in my opinion or it'll quickly destroy the races

I called them both out during the race, but didn't seem to stop them. Is there a specific email address to use?

Here are the rules.

Either @bridgy or your team captain have to submit a protest.

6. TEAM RESULT PROTESTS
  1. All communication to WTRL Race Control should be made by either the team manager or team captain. These individuals are prioritized.
  2. While WTRL endeavor to reply to everyone, the sheer volume of communications can cause delay. It is much easier for us to deal with a single email from a team captain or manager around issues than multiple emails from team riders. Help us to help you!
  3. All Results protests must be made by the Team Manager or Captain within 12 hours of race completion. WTRL will not amend a teams results where a protest is received outside of this window.
  4. Protests around teams other than your own, will be investigated by WTRL, ZWIFT and/or ZADA but the outcome of those investigations will not be reported back to the protesting team.
  5. Please ensure you include:
    • Your Teams Name.
    • The Zwift ID or full name as used in ZwiftPower of any riders.
    • The Zwift Event ID of the race.
    • Evidence and details of your protest or complaint.
    • PLEASE include web links rather than Screenshots unless you are providing game-based evidence.
  6. WTRL and Zwift's decisions around Team or Rider Protests are final.

Ah right- well in that case @Whorty you can send the details to me or your team captain and one of us can send the email for you. Thanks Del, I didn’t realise it had to come from captain or manager

Can't remember who they were now .... I think it was Parsons and Leach. I'll see if I can check their power graphs somehow.

Interestingly neither of them have their Strava profiles linked to ZP.

Well I enjoyed that race even if I wasn't at the pointy end.

Also enjoyed the NEO2T. I think it helped feeling the resistance kick in on upslopes and then fade on downs. I think with the dumb turbo I have been slow to react on small inclines where the pack will increase their power but I don't. Likewise I think I gained a bit more respite on the -1, -2% parts where I naturally backed it down a bit whereas I probaby wouldn't have done before.

The good news is that I've just done the power comparison again - and the 2T gave slightly higher power readings than my Powertap pedals. People say the NEO is mean with watts so I have been worried I'd be losing out.

Stupid question, but where do you see this power graph. I had a look and can't see where it is :banghead:

Edit: found it

I've always been semi aware my exercising heart rate is high, but the zwiftpower results really point it out.

Everyone seems to be in a similar range around 160-170 average, topping out at 170-80, but I'm averaging mid 180s and topping out over 200bpm.

Is it something I should worry about?

I had some time off the bike when looking after my wife - when I came back I was hitting over 190, a number I don't think I'd hit before and at 50 is maybe a smidge too high! Last night I average 171 and topped out at 187 (on the KoM) so my heart rate is going to a level more where it was previously. I put this down partly to me getting some fitness back. Pre looking after Rachel and her passing my average in a race was about 165 and topping out at maybe low/mid 170's

Not sure your age, but if you're young then maybe 200 isn't too high?

Edit: taking on @Joffey 's point, I'm not a doctor

As with most of health related things it's best off to ask a doctor rather than an internet forum, unless the internet forum has a doctor on or is for doctors. Any doctors??

Seriously, ask your doctor. I'm sure it's fine but if you are worried get it checked out.

It could be you just handle suffering better than us mere mortals

Heart rate is a very personal thing, and can be influenced by all sorts of factors. If you are worried speak to your GP, don't rely on anything we say!

I also have a high heart rate - peak of 198bpm and average of 186bpm last night (https://zwiftpower.com/profile.php?z=221557)

Anything that anyone tells you about heart rate can only ever be a guide, it is a very individual thing. Having said that, the younger you are then the higher your maximum and average heart rate tends to be during exercise. How old are you? I'm 32 and have similar figures to you.

A lot of people will say things like "the fitter you are, the lower your heart rate will be" - in my personal experience that is not true (but will vary between individuals). If I am well trained I just put out more power for the same heart rate. Fatigue and illness do lower my HR though - in either case I struggle to get the heart rate up, despite power usually only slightly lower

Honestly, heart rate is such a personal thing that it doesn't really matter what anyone elses experiences are - yours are very likely to be different. You probably just need to figure out what is normal for you and look out for changes to that.

Tell me!

I can't find it!!
You can only see your own ... on ZP, in your own profile you will see an 'analysis' menu option on the bar. Click that and you can select your FIT file to display the data.

Probably a good tool if you have 2 power sources, but as I only have the one it only shows what I can see in Strava
