Really enjoying racing back here with CC68.
For our first time together last night for the TTT we rode it very well I thought, @straas @Girafitti with their first-ever TTT absolutely smashed it. I was hanging on for dear life at the end. @Ketty solid as always and @BurningLegs what can we say, 2nd time around so strong and pulling the strings

Well done #23 and CCC great effort all round :okay:
Thanks Brendan - I felt last night that while I didn’t take my last two turns that I can compete at B level each week and what a team we have! Really balanced and when Michael and Bob are back we have a strong squad.

Roll on week 3!

Amazing effort from 68 (and the other teams too)

Going to be an exciting league!

I was watching the CC#23 team last night. The E1 B2 division is proving to be of really high quality but a really good performance gave a admirable 11/16 placing. I reckon it shows the team can be more than competitive in that division and will only get better. Well done @CMaguire on your maiden TTT - great performance :okay:

Good to hear that CC#68 and CCC also had good rides. As Tommy says, it's great to have 3 teams out from a relatively small community, and with myself, Bob and MJD to come back in we should be well set to get full teams out each week. Good work guys.

I just need to drop about 8kg.

Some of the weights on zwift look very suspect - 59kg?! I don't think I've weighed that since I was 12

They might be 12...

I got beat in a Crit by a 12 year old once. It was a 2 race mini series on a Friday night, 5 miles per race. He hammered me in the first race. I hammered him in the 2nd one and won it. If I recall correctly I gave it a big COME ON on messenger when crossing the line. I hoped that he went and cried to his mum about it. I felt guilty all weekend

With all this TTT data that we are accruing I'd guess that we could have a pretty good end of season TTT race... #23 vs #68 vs #CCC :boxing:

That's gonna screw @BurningLegs up ^_^

Yeah, great performance from Connor in his first TTT - he even led us over the line at the finish. As mentioned in the team chat, we actually beat our time from last season so we have to be happy with that, and put our position in this season's harder league into context!

Well done all three of our new guys, great riding and all of you seem to be really sound guys.

Shout out to @BurningLegs who has been messaging anyone in western Europe who has ever so much as seen a bike, amazing recruitment effort.

My new trainer arrived today - got it out of the box and rolled the legs over gently at lunchtime :hyper:

I didn't bother with a spin down, just jumped on and compared power output from the Kickr Snap in Zwift on ATV vs my power meter through the 4iiii app on my phone. Kickr was consistently approx 10W higher than the power meter which I thought was pretty good without any calibration!

Then I enabled Powermatch, so the Kickr reads power data from the power meter over ANT+ and sends to Zwift by bluetooth. As expected the power numbers were identical in Zwift and on the 4iiii app on my phone. For me this is a killer feature from Wahoo - it removes the need for a spindown/calibration on the trainer, gives consistent power data indoors/outdoors, and means I can now pair the trainer and HRM directly with Apple TV and cut out the companion app as a middle man (one less thing to go wrong).

So far I'd recommend powermatch for anyone with a Wahoo trainer of any kind and an external power meter - it is like magic!
