Zwift have banned 2 riders for manipulating power data! Congratulations you caught less than 0.1% of the cheaters in Zwift. Too little too late for things that they can prevent with better code or policies. (i.e. show live what trainer the riders are using as primary source, have encrypted logs with master key stored in zwift servers, ZWIFT tech team calibrated smart trainers provided to the PRO teams to use and re-verify every 12months for delta values against baseline-can be done even remotely-, Weight should be measured on the bike, freight scales are the best for this, yes they are expensive and bulky, but as soon as your guy is on the bike you have bike + equipment + rider + hydration bottles calculated as totals weight, it does not matter if you tried to cheat, overall weight should be taken as value in zwift. Algorithm could be changed to reflect this. Your choice of bike IRL will matter. No single speeds allowed, or stripped in any kind, lets see how many pros will select disc setups...)

You want as close as possible to the real UCI approved World Championship? Cough up the money, ZWIFT/Pro teams (a budget of a normal WT team is easily 6-10million a year USD)

There are a lot more things to do to fix this..until then its a game of who ever cheats cleverer. I had high hopes for E-sports like Chris Pritchard & co but it’s still a farce and now I’m glad it hasn’t taken off. Only real road racing takes my interest.

You forgot to mention it's pretty dull to watch too. I don't mind watching Steve's recording on Tuesdays as I know the guys and for me it feels like I'm there, but watching the Ineos races was so boring. In its current format I can't see it taking off as a spectator sport unless we, the viewers, can choose the riders we watch in a race.

I agree that some of the Pro / Ineos races were incredibly dull. Especially as it seemed like half of the riders just did not want to be there and were only ever going to cruise around treating it as a glorified training session. I may be totally out of line on that and they were taking it seriously but just got dropped quickly and couldn't get back, but I'm just saying what I saw. Having said that, some of the women's races on the Virtual TdF were actually a lot better than the men's equivalents, so maybe if you get the right mix of riders and choose a suitable course, you might get something watchable.

Fair play @JuhaL ! You got to level 50 whilst mastering time travel! In all seriousness how long did it take you to get to level 50. I think I started Zwift in 2016 and I am now at level 45, taking the summer off Zwift most seasons.
I start to ride more with Zwift from September 2017 so i would say from that point. I have some activities 2016 as well but those days i ride more with Bkool. Zwiftpower is a good place to check out all your activities, i checked my activities from there.

Very impressive!

I'm only level 33. And with no ant+ dongle (one day delivery = 4 day delivery in Belfast) I had to go for a run today xx(

These are my KMs over the past few years ... bit lower this year as the past 2 months I've been mostly climbing so less KM and more ascent

To be honest, I don't really use the computer at all outside of zwift, just occasional emails and MS office/teams.

I'll probably end up getting a low spec laptop and an apple TV 4k as that seems to be a combo that works well for most people?

Rode the wtrl TTT tonight, 3 laps and so 3x up the Hilly Kom forward 🤮. I hung on as long as could as 1 then 2 fell off as we went up the 3rd time and then it was my turn to be distanced by the front 4. It was only a few seconds but as they went over the top that gap stretched and we told them not to wait and to go. I finished but it’s always disheartening not to be on the front. Being bumped up to a faster category of teams seemed flattering a few weeks back but now it just feels frigging hard! It wouldn’t matter if my watts were improving but they are not. Though I really do know how to catch the draft 👍😁

Well I looked at the TTT course earlier this week, predicted this would test my recent improvement to the full and forecast a miserable bastard report would be with you by Friday.

Well......... no! I’m an extremely happy bastard!! The improvement didn’t come to an end. 3 times up the KoM and I didn’t get dropped. Slightly gapped on the 3rd climb but worked my way back on and by the KoM arch I was back with the group.

The Esses were my other worry, just because the climb after the bridge has caught me out before and often I don’t take enough power into each of the little kicks. But again, no problem. Spun harder and lifted my power after the bridge and drove hard on the little descents and that took me over the bumps.

Less than 2kms to go and then I did fall off the back, but I’d done my work, we had 6 riders left and I’d got caught in some traffic, so I didn’t want the guys to wait and just shouted to them to go. This time it just felt like I’d sat up and made the right decision, whereas in previous weeks it just felt I’d blown up and had no choice in the matter.

We finished 87 out of 225 in Frappe in 41.05. One of our team checked out the teams above us. We’re entirely a B cat team and nearly every team above us has at least 1 A cat rider, so we were all feeling pretty pleased with tonight’s ride. We’ve had the same group together for some time now, and one of the guys said tonight that we can actually feel the team getting stronger.

I sound like some f***ing lovesick teenager, but just feel really full of it tonight. Struggled so much earlier in the year and couldn’t see a way through it, so I know exactly how @Brendan Parker is feeling right now. On here @<Tommy> gave me some private advice, which I tried to follow and my team mates on WTRL have been supportive, even when I suggested I should step down a level.

I’ll reserve proper judgement until I know I can maintain this, but I think its ok to let myself enjoy it for tonight!
