I slightly jumped the gun at the start as I thought the rest of the team was already in front of me but it turned out it was only one of them and it was me who was leaving everyone behind! Note that this is pretty much the only time in the whole ride where I'm on the front - I basically hung on for grim death for most of the rest of the ride. They finally dropped my sorry excuse of a rider at the lap banner (I'd told them to do that at least three times previously but I guess they felt sorry for me and let me catch up) and the camera then stays on me and @Spartak for the next two minutes or so, before I remembered to switch views to the leading four to show their finishing few miles.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a good ride for all. Watching your HR Steve was making me reach for my inhaler!!! Well done chaps

Eep. Ant+ not being picked up at all, either when plugged directly into usb port or through the usual extension.

On inspection the usb dongle is rusted from sweat. That's about 4 years worth of use for 13.99 to be fair!

This has happened to many of us (including me). I now wrap the dongle in clingfilm.

I don’t know quite why but I really struggle to like this guy’s videos - could be the bike racing without mercy title.
He is a bit Marmite, but I quite like him , he really knows how to dig deep and suffer .

Very smooth team 68, held as a unit till the final few Kms then 4 blitzed it home. Makes a big difference having the 6!

How'd #23 get on?
I was particularly impressed with Joffey. He's clearly the stongest of the C riders that are rounding out CC#68. As a whole it was great to see the team stick together as long as they did. I'm sure the workhorses in the front appreciated having a full team and not having to drag my ass around the course!

Next week looks brutal from a distance standpoint and will really stress my weak areas. As always happy to join the race to pick up the point, but also understanding if we want a stronger group on the course.

Cheers Jeff, it was hard work, that’s for sure. It was a great team performance and impressive having 6 riders still after the elevator.
