@<Tommy> I think you recommended a Powerline didn't you? Well I have taken the plunge and now I have a decent wifi signal in the garage! Cheers :okay:

Which model did you go for? I keep meaning to research this myself at the minute, but if I see a black Friday deal on Amazon I'll probably just pull the trigger.

This one - they aren't meant to work with extension cables but this one does. Not using as wifi booster yet, will set that up today. But as a power line that then transmits wifi it has surpassed my expectations (and not too expensive).

So tonight's pre-ride meal is.................

SPICY PRAWN SUPER NOODLES (Lidl's own, very nice too as instant noodles go) :hyper:

I don't think i'll fare well this week so we shouldn't blame the noodles. I'm staying away from pork chops though, they aren't great for WIFI and I don't want anything to mess up my new and improved powerline setup!

Glad I'm not too close! Spicy prawn noodles & riding wouldn't seem to go together to me.

WRT powerline adapers, I highly recommend them. I was skeptical, but based on recommendations from folks in the main cc thread, I got a few to deal with a couple bad spots in the two houses and they work wonderfully.

No new Apple TV tonight 😢

Lots of new Macs with Apple chips though.iOS apps run natively on them so pretty much guarantees the future of Zwift on the Apple platform now that it truly is one platform across mobile, entertainment, and computing 👍

I've reduce trainer difficulty as an experiment. Didn't realise the slider wouldn't actually tell me what percentage I had chosen, so approximately 40%

Yeah it says the two sockets you’re using need to be on the same circuit too. But they don’t.

Well done @BurningLegs - 6th on the road (with at least 2 dodgy results in front) and 5 prime points!

All 6 of us came home as well so well done.

Hope #23 got on well

Just to sulk a bit- on a personal level very disappointed. I've put the graph of my power below. I supertuck a lot but I at least 3 of the spikes are power losses of about 10-15 seconds.

First one was after 2km at the start of the climb, I burnt a lot of matches trying to stay at the back of the front group and ultimately dropped back a bit. Not the end of the world.

2nd didn't really impact me too much. I think kept surfing groups as we collected riders up the road and eventually up the climb before the 2nd Kom a group of us attacked and got away- at this point I was in a group of maybe 8 riders from 16th to 24th or thereabouts.

3rd crash at very start of second Kom. Went from 17th , dropped out of group, saw another two smaller groups go past.

I didn't have a lot of energy left but I would have backed myself to stay with the slower members of the group I was in, or even if it came together outsprint some of the group's so very disappointed not to get any points.

Bright side; 5 minute power very good, and 40% made a BIG difference for me on the steeper segments.

Team effort was great and @steverob did a fantastic job
