Timings worked out brilliantly. If C had stayed together a bit longer would have been even tighter (and A might have caught B).

As soon as we caught c I think I made one attempt to bridge to Bob to split the group but then it was clear that they weren't being shaken off so I shamelessly preserved energy for the sprint.

Really fun. Some stellar performances, from the C's (including a d @Joffey )

You forget Michael that we know your tactics .... I was waiting for that move I was on my @rse by then having chased to get back to Tim so it nearly worked

I'm shocked that those results say I averaged 2.5 w/kg considering how poor my last lap was. Will have to work out what the score was just for the first 4 laps as that might have been quite good. I knew I was in trouble when I was giving it the maximum wattage I could while my legs were screaming at me to stop, yet my heart rate was actually dropping back to Zone 2 levels at the same time!

Loved some of the banter - unfortunately couldn't join in myself as my Companion App froze early on in the first lap and I can't reach my keyboard from my bike.

I think the sprint must have blurred my vision though. I thought I was ahead of @IrishAl and right on @<Tommy> - don’t remember it being strung out with a second between each pair!!

if it’s any consolation I thought 2 riders passed me in the last 20 metres and Tommy already ahead of me so I presume it was you and Bridgy...but the results are the results 👍😀

Yes, I was up late last night thinking of my excuses. Came up with 2 good ones! Blame the technology and then blame the legs!

Shouldn't have rode 40 miles yesterday, I didn't have the legs. Well done everyone, it was fun that! (Well for 15 miles!!)

Oi that’s hardly fair!

I had a small technical issue myself today - sat idle on the start line for so long my power meter went into sleep mode! I had a terrible sinking feeling when with less than 1min to wait my power went from “0 W” to “- -“ but a couple of rotations of the pedals woke it up and no real problem (except a 10M jump start)!

You didn’t come past me mate. You and Alan probably deserved to as I did so little during the race... in fact I only decided to contest the sprint after I realised you guys weren’t going to drop me about 2 miles out. I was in quite a bit of pain and I think any move would of put me out the back. But in the end bridgy got a gap on us. He started his sprint with about 300 to go. Alan was ahead of me and I think you might of been marginally too. But I overtook you, it looked like you stuttered a bit and then stood up again. Then I got ahead of Alan with maybe a handful of meters to go. The only way there’d of been 2 seconds between us though is if one of you really dropped of the power on the line.
