So glad you put it like that @bridgy I thought that was a lot harder than normal. Knew the only chance I had of some points was the aquaduct but couldn’t stay in the top 10 up there think went through in 15, gutted. Got back in the front group after until it went up again then that was that. Best av power so not all lost. Well done all.

Cat C was manic as usual. @Whorty had steering issues and managed to lose the draft which cost him his race which is a shame as apart from a couple of baggers he would have walked tonight.
Managed to keep pace until the aqueduct when it didn’t really get going so I thought let’s have a blast and ended up 5th (I’m not sure who the baggers were but if in front I’m telling myself that’s 3rd )

lost the front for a bit then joined a smaller group which I managed to distance on second climb (7th according to primes - again maybe better if it wasn’t for the baggers :cursing:) until they caught me down hill.

rode together until the end where again my inability to sprint cost me three places which meant I’m touching distance to the top 5 sometimes now.

all in all I’m happy.

anyone know the sand baggers as I’m crap at working out who they are?!

Happy to do whatever to be honest if you need me to push on at certain bits etc? Just let me know!!!
Sorry Tim had to quit. Steering was turned off in the race and it left me way over to one side and out of the draft. Hope Zwift would sort it but no, so quit the race. Pootled for a bit and took an early shower. Shame as quite fancied that tonight. Hey ho, got to spend a bit more time with the wife :smooch:

I couldn’t believe it when message flashed up. You’d have smashed them tonight. Next week :boxing:

Have a great night

Well done Tim :okay: Fancied my chances tonight but Zwift clearly has a bug when the race organisers disable steering.

Kind of a blessing really as 7 o'clock racing for me is too late anyway. Just wished I'd have raced earlier this afternoon instead.

I didn’t make the start line this evening, despite getting on the bike 25mins before the start and beginning a gentle warmup. Got a panicked phone call and had to rush back in for childcare duties. Not sure if I’m going to roll round, do a different race, or just quit for the evening...
I wondered where you'd gone suddenly as we were warming up in London. Hope everything is Ok Nick :okay:

I’ve updated the meet up time for the race to tomorrow evening. Only 10 signed up so far. Everyone who can make it please accept the invite.

@Ketty and @Joffey had declined the original invite - if you can make tomorrow please accept.

Good luck everyone racing tonight - Remember to go hard and go deep (in cycling terms) - we will go easy on you tomorrow. 😁
Not accepted Al as 100% out :okay:

Have a great ride guys.

Wow, I actually enjoyed a race with 2 KOMs

Was nice to ride with Jason again (especially as I beat him up the KOMs) but in all fairness to him he's not firing like he was back in the DBR battles of old.

I finished 5th on Zwift behind 3 Cat C riders and a Cat B. Finished 1st on ZP and now sat pretty on 289 points from 6 races. Hopefully next weeks Champs race will let me get the TT stain from my record and finish on 300 points.

Then it's time lose a load of weight and stick it to our Cat C crew ^_^

Well done everyone tonight :okay:

Looking forward to the race tomorrow night :hyper:

That will be the positions after the prime/koM points have been allocated. In these league races it's possible to come down the field, but if you picked up prime points you can still rank high in the race. The finish line tonight was worth 20 points, but the first KoM was 10 and the 2nd KoM was 20 so doing well on those KoMs was worth more points than the final race position.
