We're such a well oiled machine, that all we need to do is rock up on the start line and we're off.
I mean telling everyone you know how to start isn't much of a tactic!

did the A’s come up with a kit? I’ve circled a few of my favourites- a Black kit resembling the dark destroyers might be apt?

It’s funny that I was thinking the exact same thing about you - every time i felt in difficulty I looked on screen I could usually pick out your flag - the Macedonia flag - and I was thinking “that Tommy is still here ffs!”. If anything that spurred me on to hold on for longer. Coming out of the volcano on lap 3 was tough - the race was strung out and it would have been easy to get dropped.

that tactic worked well on that circuit as there were 2 or 3 short ramps to apply it. If found though on the last lap I put the power down and ended up on the very front going into the volcano, at which point the group surged past me and I was clinging for dear life again. I didn’t have much left in the legs for the final hurrah to the line.

Macedonia’s number 1 you know! 😄

My Wahoo Tickr strap just failed on me!

The popper on the top as shown in the photo has come off the strap and stayed in the sensor! Have pulled it out and it’s now on the kitchen worktop after being superglued. I hope it holds!

If it doesn’t hold then on the plus side it might be an excuse to look at the new version just released, but I assume I would be DQ’d from Monday’s race unless I have a HRM!

Iassume things aren’t as strict as that here for the TTT? Any objections to me racing that without a HRM??

I bought the garmin strap. It fits the Wahoo Tickr fine and works perfectly. Its a better quality strap. Its one pice under the Tickr so no strain on the connections

Ordered one from eBay now. It’s an unbranded one for less than £10 but I see what you mean about it being one piece. Estimated delivery 18th - 21st May so might be lucky and have it for racing on Monday, or my superglue fix might hold on Friday and still be viable to race on Monday
