I just found a quicker, easier way to switch your team for an event. It makes more sense, because I thought you should really be able to set your team BEFORE you ride in an event/race, rather than having to do it on the results page, which is what I described above.

So, if you click on your Profile on ZP, then click on Signups, you get a list of the events/races you have signed up to. Click on the event you've signed up for and want to change your team for, ie in your case click on your next 3R event and the same Settings option appears and you can change your team for the 3R series as I described above.

In summary, you can set your team when you have signed up to the first event in a League series, or you can change it via any event Result screen in a League series.

Hope that's clear!
crystal mate, if you can get me through the procedure then its clear :okay:

Same to you amigo 👍. I was finding that really tough. I dropped off the back twice but somehow both times the pack slowed and I almost stumbled back on. I think we can safely call that one a draw 😄.
I just read your post above and I could see you kind of surfing the pack during the race. You looked very controlled even if you weren’t feeling it! I can bounce around the pack in quite an erratic fashion sometimes especially if I’m not feeling strong and I’m worried I’m going to miss a split. I’m going to try your tactic next time.
It’s funny that I was thinking the exact same thing about you - every time i felt in difficulty I looked on screen I could usually pick out your flag - the Macedonia flag - and I was thinking “that Tommy is still here ffs!”. If anything that spurred me on to hold on for longer. Coming out of the volcano on lap 3 was tough - the race was strung out and it would have been easy to get dropped.

that tactic worked well on that circuit as there were 2 or 3 short ramps to apply it. If found though on the last lap I put the power down and ended up on the very front going into the volcano, at which point the group surged past me and I was clinging for dear life again. I didn’t have much left in the legs for the final hurrah to the line.

Well I've got my kit ready for Friday. Did the best I could to get matching socks, gloves and tyres to the jersey!

Debuted it in a rather interesting race this lunchtime. It was on the Bologna TT course, but the finish line was set to the start of the climb, so it was basically a flat out sprint for 6km (a small rise just for the last few hundred meters, but nothing too bad).

Certainly got the lungs and the heart working, even though it only took me 9 minutes. Finished 10th out of 44 according to Zwift, but ZP currently has me winning the D category once sandbaggers are removed (only one person above me was less than 3.8 w/kg, and he was 3.2, compared to my 2.8).

I definitely make use of the supertuck in races, but I always found that it's only mildly effective until I get right in the wheel of someone else who is putting out power, then at that point my avatar suddenly becomes a descending machine and I start actually overtaking others, not just hanging on to the back of the group. Good to see that the article finally provides some scientific proof to my anecdotal musings!

Always wonder why more people don't supertuck in races, super effective (normally you end up overtaking people who are putting out a steady pace, at least at c level) and for me, usually a much needed break after a horrible climb
Wow!

Have to go make more use when the conditions arise.

Just need to make sure you pick the power up before you drop below 35mph or you risk getting dropped.

You need to time when you come out of it well as well, I normally do a burst of sprinting just before the road flattens as it stops working at a certain gradient as well

And also make sure you're familiar with the layout of the descent. There's a handful of downhills that while they average say -8%, have a small section in the middle that's less than -3%, which is enough to break the supertuck for just a second - and before you know it, the pack are speeding down the road leaving you behind.

I had a little fella out pace me down the Innsbruck mountain in the tuck. I needed to keep bumping the power up to keep up. I didn't want to freewheel for too long, but I decided to supertuck the latter part, which meant I put a little distance into him.:boxing:

this is very true. Volcano descent for example can catch you out with changes in gradient.
my tactic for when I know it will work is to sprint to get as much speed up, then tuck, and recover. Then be ready to sprint out of it when the grade changes. Just a thought, I’m giving all my good tips away for free here.^_^

I feel sorry for teams A, B and D .... they're worrying about team shirts, who is captain, and you know they're fretting about tactics, whilst us C team are chilling safe in the confidence we have it in the bag. I mean, we're so relaxed, we haven't even bothered looking for a new shirt. :reading:
