I did a workout - 250 watt intervals ... first one 12 mins, then 4 more at 5 mins each. Not really feeling it at the moment though, wife been not great recently which is taking quite a bit out of me both physically and mentally. Trying to keep up the rides but it's a struggle.

You and your wife are more important than riding, maybe take a few days to recharge, do something else instead, your body and mind will thank you for it.

Without the ability to go out in the real world the riding is my distraction Paul; energy is low but I have to keep turning the legs over :okay: Whilst I'm on Zwift, it gives the wife an hour to watch some crap tv - and boy does she love some low level tv (anyone ever watched "My 660lb life"?

I rode outside today. Did approx 2.5 hours. Needed the arm warmers - it was a bit chilly out there!
I did a 2.5 hour ride on my heavyweight tourer. Legs have felt really heavy for a week.

I ventured to a local wood I've never visited before. It was tranquil, no one else there. Return was nicer with a tailwind. I saw more cyclists than car on my ride.

Just for traffic volume, it must have been wonderful in the 50s. I have a small desire that traffic never return s

That's a tough situation for both of you.

Thinking of you both!

Whorty, you probably know what’s best for your health , physical and mental, so find the time to think and make the right choice. it will help you both.
Separately , if you fancy some edge of your seat tv to grip you and perhaps your wife too then I highly recommend Fauda on Netflix.
