Good luck with the race.......... Virginmedia permitting! Now done this - and he replied very promptly but saying it can't be fixed.
Looks like I am fated to not do well in this league - that is 2 events where technical issues have stopped me competing
Now entered the British Cycling Race at 12:20 - and swapped my Lead Team to my local club WLRCC - so will check it can toggle back and forward.
Hey Steen, any ideas how I get my finish accepted into the race results
Found it now.
Half the Cyclechat B team wiped out by Virginmedia after 0.5km
When ever I lose broadband connection, I up my effort for a period in the hope it reconnects before I blow up- this might keep you in contact with your pack.
You could also have your phone if using a different provider on tether, waiting in standby to jump connections
second option is your only chance of continuing racing in that caseI did for about a minute - but the dropout was more like 10-12 minutes.
That's a unique form of doping!Yes, and my friend Torben had a turbo error around the 10-11 km mark, so he dropped out soon after. That'll teach him not to drop me!
His turbo got stuck at around 300w (4.0w/kg) and no matter if he turned the pedals or not, it kept saying 4.0w/kg. He found it most fair to quit the race. You can actually see him doing constantly 4.0 in my video in the ranking on the right, just before he leaves the race.
Any idea what happened? He is using an AppleTV 4K and the Tacx Flux 2, of course via bluetooth.
About the same time I continued for, but it was punctuated by various bouts of swearing and a weird engineer's interest in what the fault was!I did for about a minute - but the dropout was more like 10-12 minutes.
Sometimes is hard to locate the problems, could be interference in a bluetooth signal. If that is happened constantly it might be good reason to do test with ant+ connections, using laptop for example if it works any better. Apple tv seems to be bit complicated device for indoor training, some people it work and some people it cause issues.Yes, and my friend Torben had a turbo error around the 10-11 km mark, so he dropped out soon after. Did you try to ride offline as a test?.Hey you Zwift addicts. I've noticed a big frame per second drop over the last few weeks. I think it may be due to Zwift been more busy than ever before. Anyone got this?
I've ordered an out door Ethernet cable I'm going to route underground and hard wire the PC in my garage.
