Thanks for all the recommendations guys.

I ended up watching ‘uncut gems’. I turned on Netflix and saw I was already 20 minutes into it after trying to start watching it a couple of months ago before probably getting dragged away to do something else. ‘Dragged away’ bob, definitely not through lack of concentration... :reading:

Anyways... kept me entertained for an hour or so! I’ve jotted all the recommendations down which will come in handy over the next few weeks, or months(!?)
Should we start a tv shows / films to watch whilst turboing thread. :becool:

Wow, yesterday I had porridge for breakfast a coffee. Then snacked on Strawberries, blueberry's, mangos all day. Had a small bowl of brand flakes. Went to bed then weighed this morning and my extra KG I added on has gone. It just shows you that you can easily turn things around if you actually try. You can reach your goals I'm living proof. Eat lean & clean and chew your stem.

Weight loss is 90% food, 10% exercise*

It's much easier to increase the calorie deficit by eating less than exercising more. Unfortunately there are a lot of fatties out there who think by going to the gym and walking for 30 minutes on a treadmill allows them to have a 'treat' Mars bar (so long as they swill it down with a diet coke) later**.

* I made those %'s up so they may not be 100% accurate, but you get the drift!
** True story from a friend our ours. Needless to say, they are still fat

I know people who are obese but spend many hours running cycling only to over eat on junk food. It's such a waste of time.

Milky, well done but did you drink anything other than that coffee? I am not eating much more than usual and what I do eat is good quality. However at my heaviest I can weigh nearly 2 kilos more depending on time of day and , crucially, how much I have drunk. Endless cups of tea and coffee as well as vitamin c tabs etc mean I am certainly holding a lot more fluids than usual. And body fluids often represents the greatest part of initial weight loss.

Have you been back riding much @theboxers ?
No a single pedal push for 9 months . I've got to do something, I can't find an exercise I can do to take the place of the gym work I was doing that doesn't end up with me having a numb and at the same time painful lower leg. Either do something or all the work I've done up to now will be for nowt :cursing:

I'm gonna try taking the right side pedal off and using a box for my foot to rest on. I might end up like Quagmire but with my left leg though

Just a few small coffees and some water. Since lock down we make the most of our shops and stock in plenty of fruit & veg. Attempting to rid belly fat & try and go more pro look.
