Tomorrow it's time to round out the Feltet.dk Race Series when the 7th section forms the frame for the grand finale.
Previously, six departments with well over 2000 total participants have gone, and the competition has been razor-sharp in all classes. Therefore, another bout of a bike race is scheduled for Tuesday evening.
Unfortunately, far from all the riders who have had their results recorded in the first six departments.
We therefore refer to making sure you run in the right category, wear a heart rate belt, use a watt meter (and not ZPower) and have linked your profiles on Zwift.com and Zwiftpower.com respectively.
All criteria must be met to be included in the official results!
You find the right category on its profile page on Zwiftpower.com (indicated by a letter between A and D). If you do not run in the specified category, you get an UPG next to its name in the result list, and your result will not be approved.
The same applies if you exceed the category wattage limit per watt. kilo. If you have done this, WKG will stand by your name instead.
For example, if you drive in the B class, where the upper limit is an FTP of 4.0 watts per second. Thus, one's best 20 minutes of power during the race must not be higher than 4.21 watts per kilo. kilo. This is due to the general assumption that FTP equals 95% of the maximum 20 minutes of power.
Remember to move up into the right category if you have been disqualified before!
How to link your Zwift and Zwiftpower.com profiles can be found at the bottom of
this article.
The race
series is tightly covered The race is the seventh and final in the series, which started back in mid-February and has been running every Tuesday night since then.
During the series, the riders come through five different worlds in Zwift's universe, and thus the routes will vary greatly from time to time.
The participants here will not only fight for stage wins but also the overall triumph, which will be decided by a points system. Time differences in the individual departments thus have no significance for the ranking.
The race series will have several races in the race, as four strength-based categories (and one class reserved for women) will give all participants the chance to cross the finish line first and find their way to the top of the results list, which is published weekly at Feltet.dk.
For all categories, it will be possible to line up at the starting line 30 minutes before the start, and the front seats are awarded according to the first-come, first served principle, so it may be a good idea to be early on it.
Of course, we cover the race closely with livestream, commentary, minutes and results.
Tuesday's race will be live streamed on Feltet.dk as well as on our
Facebook profile ,
Twitch profile and
Youtube channel from 20:00. The race will also be visible on
DBR Live's Facebook page .
Again, Zwift Ambassador Alex Rasmussen and Feltet.dk owner Jesper Johannesen are behind the microphones, and they will of course be ready to both guide viewers through the race and answer questions along the way. There will be prizes for users with the best questions.
Minutes and results of Tuesday's race will be published here on Feltet.dk in the coming days.

The route
The field.dk Race Series ends with a bang when a criterion of 12 laps in Crit City on the route referred to as "Downtown Dolphin" rounds off the party.
The route is 1.95 kilometers, offers 16 altitude meters and includes an in-track sprint along the way.
The starting line is located on a side road just after the target banner, so the total distance of the route is 23.5 kilometers.
From the start, immediately left and enter the route immediately after the target banner. From here, the roundabout begins with a series of turns on a first slightly ascending and then slightly descending path.
The roundabout section leads to the only real small hill on the roundabout, which begins at a 90 degree right turn after 800 meters.
The hill is about 250 meters, increases on average by 3.2% (max. 6%) and is cobbled.
At the top of the hill turn right, and the riders will drive underneath the roundabout's lane placed after 1.1 kilometers.
From here, the rest of the roundabout is mainly descending, only very briefly interrupted by a few small bumps. The runway swing is a hairpin with 150 meters to the finish from which the target banner can be seen ahead.
The race has a total height of 197 meters and the height profile of the section
can be seen here.
There are sprints in all 12 laps when crossing the spurt banner, which is located 1.1 kilometers after the finish line.
The route is largely flat, but with 12 slightly rising sprints before the finals, all riders will be hard at work to take the field home to the supposed sprint decision.
Like last week's run around the volcano, the sprats will most likely spread the field, and it will always be difficult to assess exactly where the elasticity of the riders is breaking.
That fact forces all riders to step through the sprints, and the battle to constantly advance is the basis of a leg-hard race, which can become much more selective before the route immediately sets out.
Will Zwift be on the Olympic program?
Morten Jarlund's verdict
Races on the Downtown Dolphin route tend to be wild in their own right.
The tempo is always high from the start, which is also the case here. With inlaid sprints on each pass of the sprint banner, the pace will even get slower.
If you then put every sprint uphill, we know that it will hurt mega every time. With such a short refund, many riders will find it very difficult and many will smoke.
Therefore, do not expect to see total dominance from individual riders. For the first three or four laps it will probably be the same riders running around it. But then others will start to sign up on the field as the first ones get tired.
With so many points at stake along the way, however, you will not just be able to sit and get in the field. Points must be scored along the way if you want to go after the win.
The overall victory in A is probably fixed unless something goes completely wrong. However, the next five seats are open and it will definitely give some fireworks.
It's going to be crazy.
The rules
- To get its result approved, one's Zwift and Zwiftpower profiles must be linked
(see guide here) , pulse belt worn and power meter (and not zPower) used.
- Running above the upper limit of its category in watts per pounds or running in a lower category than one's Zwiftpower profile shows, one's result is not approved either.
- Single start bikes are not allowed.
- Powerups will not be available.
- There are separate starts, but all categories run the same route and distance.
- Women are allowed to attend classes other than E.
- The unofficial results of the race will be available on Zwiftpower.com, while the official results will be published here on Feltet.dk within two days of the race.
- Check your results at Zwiftpower.com to make sure you haven't violated your category's watts per watt. kilos in last week's 1st division. If so, you MUST move a category up to this section.
Control the practical? We have the advice ready.
The categories (divided into FTP)
A class: 3.99 <W / kg Running start: 20.15
B class: 3.20-3.99 W / kg Running start: 20.16
C class: 2.50-3.19 W / kg Running start: 20.17
D Class: 2.50> W / kg Running Start: 20.18
E-Class: Women Running Start: 20.19
The scoring system
The overall ranking for all categories will be based on a points system.
The stage winner in each category will receive 35 points, number two 30, number three 28, number four 27 and then still down to 30th place, which will receive two points. All other accomplishing riders receive a single point.
If there are fewer than 30 riders in one category, the poorest rider will receive two points, the second worst three points and so on.
Along the way, there will be points for the top five riders at each sprint and KOM banner. First place receives five points, second place four and so on. It is the first riders across the line who get the points. Thus, the fastest segment time alone means nothing.
Please note that at Section 7, there are as many as 12 sprints. These are located at each crossing of the spurt banner along the route.
The race series will also include a team competition where the points for each team's
three best-scoring riders at each division will count in the overall position.
If you are not on a team yet, you can easily sign up for one or create one yourself under “Teams” on
Zwiftpower.com.
NOTE that it is now each rider's six most scoring divisions (and no longer all seven) that will count in the overall points account, which applies to both the individual and team rankings.
You can read here why this rule change has been made.
If you move as a rider into a category along the way in the series, you will not get your points into the new category.
The above points system and rules apply to all classes.
The favorites
As mentioned, the route is largely flat, so sprinting will naturally be crucial to victory in the end.
Nevertheless, the sprints and the small hill will undoubtedly mean that it is far from everyone who comes out just as well in the last lap. Thus, the strongest riders will still come to their court to some extent.
Finally, tactics will play a major role, as riders with no interest in the entered sprints should naturally have the benefit of increased freshness to the final spurt.
However, these riders should be careful not to get caught behind the splits that will undoubtedly occur in the sprints.
The entered sprints will be demanding for all riders in the field, and thus there is also an advantage to be gained for the riders who are best able to save the forces under these.
Swifter experience, priorities, strength and sprinting skills will thus all be essential factors in the race.
After last week's power demonstration, it's hard not to point to
Nicklas Amdi Pedersen as the big favorite. The former Continental rider just needs to secure a handful of points to grab the overall victory, and we believe the Dane will gain full advantage with his third win in a row.
With the results in this series, Pedersen is at the top ten in the world, but he can certainly be threatened by the field's second highest rider
Brage Bergeng.
The Norwegian was number seven last week and is now in an immediate fourth place. The Vikings rider is fast-paced, and he must be motivated to win the tough fight to finish best of the rest behind Pedersen.
Much of the same can be said about Bergeng's teammate and compatriot
Haavard Gjeldnes . The Norwegian is six points ahead of his teammate in the overall position, and despite difficulties in last week's race, he should be able to assert himself here.
With second place in last week's race,
Troels Abildskov got his best result so far in the series, and since the Crit City route is in many ways similar to last week's tour of the volcano in Watopia, the DBR rider stands with good chances to make his mark again in front.
Martin Mortensen showed last week that he excels in the point-running format, as only Pedersen collected several in-game points along the way. If the former WorldTour rider can repeat the success, he will advance from his current overall sixth place.
The Swedes were largely absent last week, but they return to this final. SZ rider
Martin Ohlsson is among those, and with his 11th place in a tough 5th division and 44th place on the Zwiftpower.com rankings, he deserves to be named one of the favorites.
Two seats behind Ohlsson at the 5th Division ended
Mattias Lundqvist . A flat race may not fit the Swede perfectly, but the hill may make the race hard enough for the SZ rider to score big points on the finish line.
Simon Nielsen has been one of the best riders in the series in the sprints, and the Fusion rider is also among the favorites in the 7th division. It has been a couple of weeks since Nielsen was at the top recently, but the Dane may well end up among the top scorer this time.
Nielsen's teammate
Jeppe Tolbøll is also a good bid. The Dane showed his sprint skills at the first two races of the race and the flat route fits the powerful Fusion rider.
Fusion can also bet on
Thomas Maaløe , who became the team's best man on the tough route in Innsbruck at the 3rd division with a seventh place.
Team Poauto has been the most successful team in this series. The team has Pedersen in a superb overall place and the team also leads the team competition with a big lead to the competitors.
Poauto also makes a strong and habitable team for the grand final. In addition to Pedersen himself, the crew owns BHS - PL Beton Bornholm riders
Frederik Irgens, Emil Toudal, Mads Rahbek, Marcus Sander Hansen, Mathias Matz and
Mikkel Øritsland.
In addition, Poauto comes with names such as
Anders Moustgaard, Martin Hammer Larsen, Jesper Andreasen and
Kristian Sobota, while also the ultra cyclist
Michael Knudsen rides with.
Jeppe Falk won the first division in a reduced mass sprint, and with a 12th and 13th place in his other two races, the Dane has shown that he should be considered a serious candidate for another top position.
The race will also be attended by a couple of very interesting riders. Both the Danish champion of mountain biking,
Sebastian Fini , as well as the professional triathlete and European champion of the ironman distance,
Kristian Høgenhaug, are off to a start.
Finally, we would like to mention
Vegard Hedalen ,
Morten Holt, Kristian Nøhr, Jacques Stilling, Christian Moxon, Morten Vogt Laustsen, Flemming Andersen and
Gustav Heby Pedersen.
* The favorite list is updated as more participants sign up for the race.
