I'll try to hang on as long as I can but I won't be top 10 next week. I'll try and work for you guys where I can, and disrupt any chasers if i end up in a 2nd or 3rd group.Will be doing a hard vo2/ anaerobic workout today and again over the weekend to try and get my legs used to the pain to come
Just to note, the race page on ZP is showing the next stage as Volcano with KoM and the Crit as the last stage .... if correct, then i'll have a chance again to pull back riders as we hit the 10 mins climb of the KoM 
My recent race on that course had me at 35 mins for 2 laps of Volcano flat (25 km). With about 10 mins climbing, then about the same time of descent and back to the Finish banner, this race will be about 55 mins for me I think. Probably be a case of trying to hang on to the leaders as long as possible on the 2 flat laps, get to the volcano with (hopefully) enough in the legs to set a good time up there, then try to find some others to work with to get back down to the finish line.

The Volcano KOM was dropped for stage 5 (this week's race) because they were "afraid" that it would be one long boring race to the bottom of the climb, as there were no sprints on that course. Watching/streaming/commenting on that would not attract any viewers, pretty much like the flat stages in a Grand Tour, where the peloton is together until the very end...
Yep, that's what it says on ZP, but there was another link posted recently that the next stage is the Crit ..... but then this week, they said it was the Vocano and it ended up being Harrogate so I think there is a miss-match somewhere. Also, if you look at the details of next week, even though it say Volcano on ZP, the details of the route look like a Crit with 7 laps (and not a 2 lap volcano flat with the KoM).
Probably makes sense for them to have Volcano and KoM first and to finish the series with a Crit ... I'm sure they'll clarify it soon.
Ah, ok ... they still show the next one as Volcano, so do you know if they're planning to change this again?

Yes, @Del C you will be DQ if you enter the C-cat next week. Some D-riders complained about C-riders in the final results, but they were in D on ZP when doing the race and then promoted afterwards.
