Yes, @Del C you will be DQ if you enter the C-cat next week. Some D-riders complained about C-riders in the final results, but they were in D on ZP when doing the race and then promoted afterwards.
Ok.

I knew it really but thanks for confirming.

I noticed on the KOA league announcement from KOA/Zwift yesterday, that they organise their leagues and teams on a monthly basis. So, if you started March as a C cat, then you keep that cat until then end of that month's racing. If you're upgraded (they use Zwiftpower) then the upgrade applies for the next month, ie April, and the next round of races.

I think that's a good idea

Thanks Steen. So how do I join the CC Team? I assume I then just enter as usual via ZP?

Doubt if I'll help the scoring much but I'll give it a go hopefully

You just sign up for the B cat here, and you are good to go: https://zwift.com/events/view/347607

You'll score 1 personal point for just finishing. If @LBHIFI quits (AGAIN:laugh:) we need all the finishers we can get as to get at least the max 3 finishing points.

@peterob and I are doing the 1.35 Crit City race if anyone wants to join or laugh at us (well me)
Damn ... bit too early for me. If it was an hour later I'd join in. Good luck :okay:

Well that was fun and a good old blast. The race was a 10 miler so perfect for setting your best 20 minute power in Zwift

There were 32 riders in B category but it looks like only 12 are on ZP or are legit.

It was a reasonably fast start but not as mad as some - and fairly quickly a group of about 20 went clear which both Pete and I were in. Crit City tends to be mainly threshold with a 20 second VO2 Max blip on the short cobbled incline, and that is how it went. It must have been fast as I kept getting PRs on the lap.

I was chuffed I stayed with the lead group all the way, but then I cocked up my sprint as the Finish turned up before I was ready and by the time I wound up my sprint and hit my powerup, it was too late. Still I got 14 of 42 (8 of 12 in ZP!) which I was pleased with.

@peterob got 5th, 2 seconds ahead of me (4th on ZP) so nearly a podium :notworthy:

I'm a bit gutted, I recorded the race, but I think hitting the spacebar for my powerup must have toggled it off - so I only have the first 1.9 miles.

PS, love Pete's ginger dreadlocks
